Sin-Jin of the week: Rocker-Knocker
Faris sat in his room, alone, feeling the small injury that he had received. It was still sore. How could Sailor Quinox have hit him like that? She was stronger then he thought. *Flashback: Faris began to power up a beam attack, aimed straight at Sailor Quinox’s chest. “And now Sailor Quinox…the end…” “DEAD SCREAM!!” A ball of energy nearly hit Faris…* He would have to be more careful next time…He knew that he must succeed for Queen Necros…
Matt walked tiredly through the halls at school. She could hardly keep her eyes open during first hour and she felt that she could just collapse where she was standing. “Hey!! Matt!!!” A familiar voice rang in her ear. Ellie walked next to Matt and looked over her tired friend. “So…something wrong?” Matt looked at the inquisitive Ellie. “If you count feeling like a pile of carp as being wrong, then yes, something is wrong!!” She turned back to getting to second hour. If she had to fight one more creature…one more…she would scream!!! Ellie stop sort of the classroom. “If it makes you feel any better, I got these…” She held out four tickets. Matt took one of them and took a better look at it. They were tickets to a concert by a touring Japanese band called R3. She heard of them. They were actually one of her favorite bands. “So why are you giving me these?” Ellie looked at Matt. “Well, one of my friends had to drop out of this concert and since you looked down…I though you would like to go!” Matt took the ticket in her hand and looked at it. It would be a terrible waste not to go. Matt looked at Ellie. “Alright…I’ll go!” she said. Ellie smiled and walked away happily. “Now…” Matt said to herself, “I’ll have to convince Mom and Dad to let me go!”
“Alright, let’s try that again!” Tayoko Masumi, the lead singer of R3 said to his colleges. The others just nodded in agreement. “Hey! First let me get my replacement guitar.” Nomu Seta, one of the other singers said to Tayoko. “Hey! You!” he yelled to a stagehand, “hand me another guitar!” The stagehand merely nodded and handed him a guitar from backstage. The stagehand walked backstage again. Hiro Mano, the third singer, turned to the others. “Hey, you know. I’ve never seen that guy before. He must be new.” Backstage, the stagehand smiled evilly.
Matt arrived home at her usual time. Her sister Jessie was on the couch, watching TV, which was running a commercial for R3’s concert. “Matt honey, isn’t that that Japanese band you like so much?” Matt’s mom said as she came in with Jessie’s drink. Matt looked at it and then looked back at her mom, slightly nervous. “Um…mom, say that someone had gotten tickets to this show…would…” “You got tickets to the show…” Matt’s mom said abruptly. Matt was a little stunned by this, but kept on going. “So…um…can I go?” she said nervously. Matt’s mom turned to her and gave a warm smile. “Why not? If you have a ride and as long as you don’t take any drugs or drink alcohol…” Matt nearly fell on her face. “I hope you enjoy it!!” Matt’s mom said as she headed back to the kitchen. Matt, meanwhile, still stunned, walked woodenly up the stairs to her room.
At the concert area, Tayoko was in his dressing room looking over the lyrics he was to sing. He suddenly became aware of a strange humming noise. It started soft and began to get louder. He suddenly realized that it was coming from his guitar. “What the heck…” As he bent down to look at it, it suddenly burst in light. He couldn’t stop staring at it. He seemed overcome by something. As he fell on his knees, the door began to open…and Faris looked at the unconscious man…he smiled.
Matt sat next to Ashley, one of Ellie’s friends, while Ellie’s mom drove the van, heading for the concert. Matt felt very uncomfortable, partially because of the bandages that kept her chest flat, but mostly because she had a feeling. It was the same feeling she felt just before something was going to happen…but she shook out of it as they approached the stadium where the concert was being held. As Matt stepped out, the feeling came back…and she stopped and looked around. “Matt!!! Come on!! We have to get to our seats!!” Ellie grabbed Matt by the arm and pulled her in the direction of the stadium entrance.

SD Sailor Q gives the audience the victory sign
“Hey….where’s Tayoko?..shouldn’t he be here by now?” Nomu said, clutching his guitar. Hiro put down the water bottle he was sipping and turn to Nomu “now that you mention it…I haven’t seen him….and we’re due on stage in 5 mins.” A hand grabbed Nomu by the shoulder and he jumped….Tayoko looked at Nomu with a dazed look. “….It’s time we got onstage, guys” he said in a monotone voice. Nomu just nodded slowly, while Hiro clutched his guitar tighter.
Matt looked at the stage. It was decorated with bright colors and a neon sign in the back that said “R3” in blue. Ellie giggled at the stage “THIS IS GOING TO BE GREAT!! I CAN’T WAIT TO HEAR “ TRANSFORM THE PLANET”!!!” Ashley and Matt just sweat dropped. Ellie started to jump up and down. “Look!! The concert’s starting!!!” Matt watched as the three musicians showed up. Everyone cheered loudly as began to play some of their top hits. Matt looked up at Tayoko…and started to blush for some reason, although Ashley and Ellie didn’t notice. Matt quickly snapped out of it as Tomoko got up to play his solo. As he strummed his guitar, matt started to feel oddly woozy. She looked around, noticing everyone was starting to either fall asleep or faint. Matt turned towards the stage as the other rockers except for Tomoko had fallen under the spell as well. Matt jumped up towards onto the stage and tackled Tomoko, knocking him over. Matt kept blushing as she got off the knocked out rocker as she heard a laugh. The guetar floated in the air and started to shift shape into that of a female creature, which looked like a cliché punk rocker. Matt quickly transformed as the thing stuck it’s long tongue at her. Sailor Quinox kept circling until the creature suddenly strummed it’s guiter, which sent a shockwave throwing quinox into a wall. Quinox barely got up in time to get wacked in the jaw by the creature. Quinox got slowly up and quickly head-butt the creature then as it shot another shock-wave out, leaped over it and kicked it in the back of the head. The thing fell over and turned to face quinox..only to meet face to face with a Air Blast. As the creature returned to a guiter, quinox ran over to check up on Tomoko. Tomoko managed to open a single eye, before Sailor Quinox ran off so as not to be seen.
As the concert continued, Matt ponder the reason for her feelings. It wasn’t as if she liked the guy. I mean, that would be silly, she reason. Suddenly Tomoko shouted out a dedication to “the girl in the sailor suit”. All Matt could do…was blush and smile.
