[09:24] <Regina Lee> [Charm Coffee] Weren't you like a head nurse at the University of Tokyo Hospital? Surely your work there helped people?
[09:24] * Maeko Nakano [Charm Coffee] shakes her head a little forlornely.
[09:24] <Maeko Nakano> [Charm Coffee] I felt like it wasn't enough. Even with what bits and pieces came in for me to heal, i just felt like I wasn't doing enough.
[09:26] <Maeko Nakano> [Charm Coffee] I joined the International Aide Corps. We would go to war torn countries to administer as much help and aide as we could. With my healing abilities, I was able to help A Lot more people.
[09:27] <Maeko Nakano> [Charm Coffee] And yet, there were times when we would be too late getting to people. Too late to save them.
[09:28] <Maeko Nakano> [Charm Coffee] Broke my heart time and time again. If only we were faster. If only I was faster and better and stronger. If only I could be in more than one place at a time.

[09:34] * Mayu Minamoto [Charm Coffee] fidgets unvomfortably at Maeko's normally happy and chipper tone of voice growing so cold and dark and angry. (Whatever happened to her must've been real bad.)
[09:34] * Mayu Minamoto [Charm Coffee] gently and discreetly puts her hand on Regina's arm to stop her from speaking. She gives the tiniest shake of her head and Regina shuts her mouth.

[09:35] <Maeko Nakano> [Charm Coffee] I'm not sure how long I'll be back in Japan. Probably for quite some time, I think. I wouldn't mind getting back to my roots.

[09:54] * Regina Lee brings Maeko over to the front desk concierge and sees she can check the small computer there to see which rooms are available. She picks room 505 and is give the key for it.

[09:54] <Maeko Nakano> Nah, I've got it. I'm sure I can figure my way out from here.
[09:54] * Regina Lee nods as she watches Maeko vanish on the elevator.
[09:55] * Regina Lee looks around to see who else is here. She feels uncomfortable just being here, too many bad memories.
[09:56] * Regina Lee sits on a sofa and takes out a book from her satchel. She opens it up and pretends to read.
[10:10] * Regina Lee takes out her note pad and actually reads, continuing her interrupted work that she had been working on at Charm Coffee. She takes notes on the yet unpublished book, editing it.
[10:27] * Maeko Nakano exits the elevator. Fresh from a relaxing shower and dressed comfortably.

[10:34] *** The two women make their way to Roppongi. Exiting the train at Roppongi station, they are surprised as nearly everyone else on the train exits with them.

[10:35] * Regina Lee and Maeko manage to exit the subway. They move aside as the throng of people leave. Like a river, they seem to all be flowing down the street and around the corner. They can hear a large crowd of voices. Some chanting, others yelling. It's too hard for them to make out distinctly.

[10:35] <Regina Lee> I think I'm gonna head home.
[10:35] <Regina Lee> This is a little much for me.
[10:35] <Maeko Nakano> You coward.
[10:35] * Maeko Nakano says this with a small smile, almost jokingly.
[10:35] <Regina Lee> Yeah I know.
[10:36] <Maeko Nakano> Come on! Where's that bright fierce Leader spirit?
[10:36] <Regina Lee> Pffft.
[10:36] <Regina Lee> You know I'm not that kind of person.
[10:36] * Regina Lee unexpectedly hugs Maeko.

[10:48] * Maeko Nakano makes her way down the street. She turns the corner and sees the hospital at the end of it. Next to the building she can see what looks like a makeshift tent city.
[10:49] * Maeko Nakano sees a large crowd of people being held back by a study series of barricades and chain link fences.
[10:49] <Maeko Nakano> (Looks like security was beefed up after yesterday's tragic events.)
[10:50] * Maeko Nakano looks around and can still see remnants of the disastrous events. Blood stains and various debris still litter the street, though it doesn't seem to stop the people from gathering.
[10:50] <Maeko Nakano> (Doesn't seem as many people as the others said. I guess only the most desperate are here and the rest are too terrified to come back.)
[10:57] * Maeko Nakano enters the crowd, using her skills to make her way to the front of it. Light touches and brushing of her fingertips sends calming vibes to those around her. She notices how sickly people look, those wearing face masks, those using crutches or canes or bandaged up.
[10:58] * Maeko Nakano gets to the front of the heavy sturdy barricade, the chain link fence with its barbed wire a good 10 feet behind the barricade. Armed guards between the barricade and the fence.
[10:59] * Maeko Nakano looks and sees the armed guards speaking with a family with a very young, sick child. They allow the family to pass through the barricade and quickly seal it closed, preventing the surge of people from trying to get through.
[11:00] *** The guards let the family through the first gate of the fence but rather than let them through the second gate to get to the hospital, the family is led down a fenced corridor towards the tent city and disappear from sight around the corner.
[11:02] * Maeko Nakano makes her way to the entrance of the barricade, taking out her ID as a member of the International Aide Corps and her credentials.
[11:02] * Maeko Nakano speaks to the two guards there, offering her services.
[11:03] *** The two guards glance at one another, hiding their emotions and feelings. One moves back to the guards at the first fence, hiding their lips from being read. One of the guards speaks on his radio and waits for a response.
[11:05] * Maeko Nakano waits, feeling the eyes of the desperate on her.
[11:14] * Maeko Nakano perks up as the guard comes back. He nods at her and lets her in as his comrades keep the others back. He leads her through the first gate and down the corridor towards the tent city rather than allowing her into the Faith Healer's Hospital. Maeko looks back over her shoulder at the guards at the entrance. (Who is that?) She thought she could see someone peering at her through the frosted glass doors but she isn't sure. Her attention is quickly diverted as they arrive at the entrance of the tented area.
[11:15] * Maeko Nakano is handed off to another guard. The new guard lifts the flap of the entrance to a very large tent and Maeko is ushered inside.
[11:17] *** Two people dressed in head-to-toe isolation gowns with face masks and face shields and gloves and shoe covers turn to look at her. She introduces herself and the guard explains that she's allowed to help as told by the higher ups.
[11:18] *** The two healthcare workers look relieved. They take Maeko and the guard exits the enclosed tent room.
[11:19] *** The healthcare workers direct Maeko to dress up in the protective clothing. After Maeko does so, one of the workers leads her to another room that seals shut behind them. The haggard worker explains as the mist fills the room, disinfecting them 100%.
[11:20] * Maeko Nakano frowns beneath the mask covering the bottom half of her face. She feels like she can sense a familiar power in the mist as it dissipates. (What is that?)
[11:21] * Maeko Nakano is lead through the next entryway and sees dozens if not hundreds of a variety of tents and makeshift tents and shacks and the like. At least a dozen similarly suited healthcare workers mingle amongst the people there.
[11:23] * Maeko Nakano walks with the healthcare worker whose name is Sumire. Sumire explains how they've divided up the area into as grid like of a formation as they could get. Cordoning off certain areas for specific illnesses and injuries and the like.
[11:26] * Maeko Nakano listens as Sumire continues talking about how they get supplies shipped in and how they pass them out.
[11:29] *** They take a tour of the entire area, Maeko making a mental map of the place and taking note of the people in need.
[11:29] <Healthcare Worker Sumire> Where would you like to start, Nakano-san?
[11:29] <Maeko Nakano> Where ever I can do the most help.
[11:31] * Healthcare Worker Sumire nods, a grateful smile on her tired and worn face.
[11:38] <Healthcare Worker Sumire> How about you help out Saitou-san with the survivors from yestereve's attack? There's quite a few of them and not enough of us to help.
[11:39] * Maeko Nakano nods as she's directed to Saitou's section of the medical field. She sees an older man clad in the same isolation gear as her, tending to an injured young woman with a bandaged head and leg, what skin visible clearly showing bruised flesh.
[11:40] * Healthcare Worker Saitou finishes rebandaging the young woman's leg and looks up to see Maeko.
[11:40] * Healthcare Worker Saitou nods when Maeko explains who she is and how she's here to help.
[11:40] <Healthcare Worker Saitou> Yes, I saw you earlier with Sumire-san.
[11:41] <Healthcare Worker Saitou> Word is you worked in combat field triage for quite some time.
[11:41] <Healthcare Worker Saitou> It's not as hectic as all that, thank the gods, but we're still pretty busy as you can see.
[11:41] <Healthcare Worker Saitou> We can use all of the competent help we can get.
[11:42] * Healthcare Worker Saitou helps the dizzy woman sit up on the mat that she had been laying on. "I'll be right back, Nakano-san."
[11:42] * Healthcare Worker Saitou leads the young woman away, letting her use him as a crutch.
[11:43] * Maeko Nakano looks at the supplies of bandages, healing balms, and variety of medicines set up in this area of the field.
[11:44] * Healthcare Worker Saitou comes back, bringing with him a shirtless, heavily bandaged man. He helps him to lay down on the mat. Saitou eyes the other empty mat in the large tent they've set up for this area of the field and says, "You can start working on Tanaka-san here and I'll go get another patient."
[11:45] <Maeko Nakano> Of course, Saitou-san.
[11:45] * Maeko Nakano watches as Saitou lifts the flap of the tent to leave and Maeko turns her attention to Tanaka. She doesn't flinch from the pained, smoldering look he's giving her.
[11:46] <Maeko Nakano> I'm going to change your bandage and check on your wound to see how it is doing, okay?
[11:46] * Maeko Nakano is tender and her voice is soft and soothing. Tanaka visibly relaxes a bit.
[11:46] * Maeko Nakano gets her bandages and other supplies ready.
[11:47] * Maeko Nakano kneels down beside the man, her supplies in a basket beside her on the ground. She helps the handsome man to sit up; he winces and lets out a harsh growl.
[11:47] <Maeko Nakano> I know it hurts, dear, but I'm here to help you out.
[11:48] * Maeko Nakano chooses to ignore Tanaka's gaze as it lingers on her more than ample bosom as she begins to undo the bandage of his upper torso. She finishes peeling off the bandage to reveal the large wound on his chest up to his shoulder.
[11:50] * Maeko Nakano notices how his wound was hastily stitched up, uneven. The flesh around the wound is discolored and an unpleasant odor is apparent.
[11:50] <Maeko Nakano> (Not good.)
[11:50] <Tanaka> It's bad, ain't it?
[11:50] <Maeko Nakano> Don't you worry, I'll take good care of you.
[11:51] * Tanaka is suddenly wracked by a coughing fit and the stitches rip apart, blood begining to flow anew.
[11:51] <Maeko Nakano> (That's right. He must have been here for an entirely different illness before getting hurt in the disaster from last night.)
[11:52] * Maeko Nakano works quickly to staunch the flow of blood with gauze pads. Into the pads she works her magical healing ability. The pale pink, nearly white, glow of her magic is so faint it isn't noticeable. She pours her magic into the pad as the man winces. The magic starts to seep in.
[11:53] <Maeko Nakano> I've got you, don't fret.
[11:55] * Maeko Nakano works on healing the man. She barely notices Saitou coming back with an old woman, so busy she is with her task. She first cleans up the bloodflow, stopping it. With her magic she numbs the wound so he doesn't feel it as she sutures him anew. Then she slathers on a healing balm, that which she filled with her magic as strong as it could be without hurting him, and begins to rebandage him once more, the very fibers of the bandage soaked with her healing.
[11:56] *** Already Tanaka is starting to feel better. His wound doesn't seem to hurt as much as it did before and his brain doesn't feel as cloudy or fuzzy. The fever he had is now gone and he feels clear headed. So much so that he blushes in embarrassment when Maeko notices him coming to attention. She gives him a kind smile and helps him get to his feet.
[11:57] <Maeko Nakano> Let me bring you back so you can rest easy, okay?
[11:58] * Maeko Nakano wraps her arm around his waist and goes with Tanaka back to his tent. She senses the consumption deep within him and, using the fact that they are closely touching, seeps her magic into him to linger and slowly burn it out over time. (Not too strong. Can't risk killing him after doing so much to help.)
[11:58] * Maeko Nakano helps him down onto his mat in his makeshift tent.
[11:58] <Maeko Nakano> Rest. You need it.
[11:59] <Tanaka> I'll dream of you...
[11:59] * Tanaka smiles as Maeko pats him on his shoulder, sending in one more pulse of her healing essence. He immediately falls asleep because of it.
[12:00] * Maeko Nakano makes her way back to the tent and pauses before it as Saitou exits with the old woman.
[12:00] * Healthcare Worker Saitou watches as the woman makes her way back to her spot before turning to Maeko. He gestures for her to follow him back into the tent.
[12:01] <Healthcare Worker Saitou> That was some good work, Nakano-san. It was quick and efficient. I see you've got the steady hand.
[12:01] <Maeko Nakano> You have to learn to be steady and cool headed while under pressure.
[12:02] <Heathcare Worker Saitou> Hm, yeah. I couldn't even imagine being in a warzone. You're sturdy.
[12:03] <Heathcare Worker Saitou> Howsabout I bring em to you and you can work on the most injured cases, yeah?
[12:03] <Maeko Nakano> Sure, of course.
[12:03] * Maeko Nakano can see how worn Saitou is. (He needs a break.)
[12:04] <Maeko Nakano> Why not organize our patients by severity. I'll handle the healing.
[12:04] * Maeko Nakano smiles, her blue eyes crinkling.
[12:04] <Healthcare Worker Saitou> Yeah.. yeah that sounds good. You da boss.
[12:05] * Healthcare Worker Saitou salutes Maeko and heads out.
[12:05] * Maeko Nakano uses the time before her next patient to prempetively imbue her healing essence into the bandages and healing ointments and balms.
[12:09] *** Maeko Nakano spends her time checking and healing the physical injuries of the survivors of the riot and Terrible-Senshi attack, while at the same time working on healing the underlying issue they had to begin with. Maeko's abilities as a healing senshi is unmatched. She takes the utmost care and finesse when healing the sicknesses of her patients, lest she risk burning them from the inside out. It has taken her many years of delicate healing to be able to use her massive healing ability for the smallest of illnesses and injuries.
[12:10] *** Maeko hears first hand accounts of the attacks these terrible senshi wrought. The cries of anguish and relief at being spared. She hears what these people, and Saitou-san, say about this Faith Healer Kaito Hayashi. That he is a miracle worker, a gift from the gods, a legendary man who can heal all.
[12:11] *** Maeko learns a lot from these people, though she can tell she doesn't have the whole story.

[10:01] * Maeko Nakano gets back to mindlessly scrolling through her social media feeds.
[10:34] * Maeko Nakano realizes what time it is. "Gosh. An hour pass already?"
[10:34] * Maeko Nakano gets to her feet with a soft grunt.
[10:34] * Maeko Nakano pockets her phone and heads out into the mid morning Japanese sunshine and cool Spring air.
[10:35] * Maeko Nakano hops on the Subway to take the 7 minute train ride from Minato to Roppongi.
[10:44] * Maeko Nakano exits the train. Unlike yesterdeay, there isn't a swarm of people streaming out.
[10:56] * Maeko Nakano walks down the street and around the corner. She sees the hospital off in the distance. There is still a swarm of people but not nearly as much as yesterday. She wonders if that is unusual or not.
[11:01] * Maeko Nakano makes her way through the crowd. Of few of them stare at her with a mixture of awe and resentment. She doesn't pay them any mind and quickly makes her way to the first barricade.
[11:02] * Maeko Nakano shows her credentials once more and the armed guard nods. He lets her in and she is soon let through the first gate of the chainlink fence and is escorted down the fenced in corridor to the entrance of the tent city.
[11:04] * Maeko Nakano enters the tent, greets the healthscare workers from yesterday. She puts on the isolation gown after having gone through the disinfecting mist. (There's that familiar...feeling again.)
[11:04] * Maeko Nakano feels like there is something familiar in the mist as it clears up but she can't pinpoint what it is exactly.
[11:05] * Maeko Nakano is directed to a different section of the tent city to work in. Today Maeko has been asked to check on patients with pulmonary. issues and illnesses.
[11:08] * Maeko Nakano gets into the groove of checking her patients vitals and listening in to their lungs. Checking a patient's vitals, she uses her abilities to do a cursory search of their body, pinpointing and diagnosing their illness. When she uses the stethoscope, she infuses her patient with her magic to slowly heal them over the course of a day or so. It's slow going but she doesn't want to raise any suspicion as to what she can do.
[11:09] * Maeko Nakano loses herself in her work. Her charming and kind and warm bedside manner easing the worries of her patients as she works on them. (Not as hectic as a battlefield but at least I can still make a difference here as well.)

In an secluded alley Astrum waited to have her weekly girls' day out with Chibiusa, where they would cruise the city looking for cute boys. Given the damage she had done in her recent attack on Earth, they felt it was better to meet discreetly until she could be accepted into society. Presently, she sees the girl and smiles, going up to meet her.

"There you are, you're late!" Astrum pouted. "I was hoping we could take a look at those simply delicious specimens at the gym."

Chibiusa grinned, setting down a stepstoll and climbing up on it to set to Astrum's height, but she said nothing.

"What?" Astrum asked with a light laugh. "What is it? Do you think one of them fancies me?"

Chibiusa leaned in close, as if to tell her a secret. Astrum grinned and leaned in close.

Chibiusa furiiusly stabbed Astrum in the chest with a knife again and again, rapidly, viciously, causing the girl to double over in shock, bleeding, eyes widening. She gasped, blood pouring from her mouth, willing the power of the Silver Crystals within her to heal her. Then she saw it... the change. "Y-You're not..." she gurgled, fighting to maintain consciousness.

From the side, a viewer seeing only the silhouettes of their shadows would have seen Chibiusa's grow and morph into something bulbous and grotesue.

"For the glory of the Shining Queen!" a hoarse, monstrous voice croaked as it pulled out a small, bloodied golden cresent, wrapped it in its fist and thrust into Astrum's chest and pulled out the two Silver Crystals in her body - one fron am Alternate Future of Earth 1337-B, the other from the being 'Krystallo', both of which had agglutinated into one powerful mass.

Astrum gasped in shock and dropped to the ground, the color leaving her body as she slowly began to die, the monster departing with its prize.
