[21:19] <Potamos> Nee, did you get to see the waterfalls?

[21:20] <Jack Dinsdale> I was waiting for you
[21:20] * Jack Dinsdale finds the food basket he had prepared
[21:20] * Jack Dinsdale chases out an errant crab
[21:20] <Jack Dinsdale> got supplies and everything
[21:22] <Potamos> We can go now...
[21:23] <Jack Dinsdale> Sure :)
[21:23] <Jack Dinsdale> The moonlight's bright enough to make the trip safe, I think.
[21:23] <Jack Dinsdale> And it's not too far.
[21:24] * Jack Dinsdale hands Hiromi the map
[21:25] * Jack Dinsdale indicates a path leading through the forest
[21:25] <Jack Dinsdale> Ready?
[21:25] <Potamos> Ready!
[21:26] * Jack Dinsdale grins, and heads down the path, making sure to stay side-by-side with Hiromi
[21:26] *** The forest is dark, but not frighteningly so; the moonlight and the stars light up the canopy, giving it a ethereal, mystical appearance
[21:27] <Potamos> It's kinda quiet, don't you think?
[21:27] <Potamos> I don't hear very many birds mitai na
[21:27] *** Fireflies float lazily around
[21:27] <Jack Dinsdale> Hmm, I think the seagulls are up to something.
[21:27] <Jack Dinsdale> They're probably all raiding the food on the beach.
[21:28] *** You can hear frogs and other forest insects, they make a calm, serene harmony in the background
[21:28] <Potamos> Uwaahhh...
[21:28] <Jack Dinsdale> Hmm?
[21:28] <Potamos> The fireflies
[21:28] <Jack Dinsdale> They're pretty, aren't they~
[21:29] <Potamos> Nee, maybe we should have everyone do a sleep out under the stars night mitai na

[21:30] *** There is a rustling in the bushes. A silver fox with a red stripe down its back dart out, looking at the duo for a moment, almost smiling, then darts back into the forest
[21:30] <Jack Dinsdale> A cute little guy!
[21:30] <Potamos> What was that?
[21:30] <Potamos> He was so quick...
[21:30] <Jack Dinsdale> Like... a fox or something.
[21:31] * Jack Dinsdale pushes aside a cluster of branches and the Waterfalls soar into view
[21:31] <Jack Dinsdale> Whoa...
[21:31] *** The moonlight is creating a rainbow effect across the falls, which shine like diamonds
[21:32] <Potamos> Wow...
[21:32] *** the falls pour into a series of five large pools, each shimmering a slightly differnet color
[21:32] * Potamos pulls out her camera and shoots a few pictures
[21:32] *** it all looks like it was made out of jewels
[21:32] <Jack Dinsdale> This is amazing...
[21:33] *** Each pool has palm trees around it that shield from the waterfall spray, and make each one look like a private oasis
[21:34] *** There are some seabirds circling the top of the falls, silhouetted against the moon, their cries just add to the mysteriousness of the place
[21:36] *** The moon shines directly down on the falls, lighting up the area to a pleasant dusk
[21:38] * Jack Dinsdale kneels and feels the water, it's not cold at all
[21:38] <Jack Dinsdale> This really is the perfect island...
[21:39] * Potamos feels the water
[21:39] <Potamos> Yeah, it's warm...
[21:39] <Potamos> Do you think it might be geothermal energy or just the weather mitai na?
[21:40] <Jack Dinsdale> Well the beach seems to have colder water, so maybe geothermal.
