[23:50] <Anthony Suthers> Here we go. There's no reason you should have to stare at the ceiling while I secure you.
[23:51] * Amanda Sharlan finds herself comfortable and gazing across the room
[23:51] * Anthony Suthers brings the Virtual Reality Goggles peripherals down over Kakanue's eyes. There are a series of softly pulsing and spinning lights visible inside the visor. "There you go, I thought this was more interesting and relaxing to look at than just the "stand-by mode" display."

[23:52] * Amanda Sharlan nods
[23:53] <Anthony Suthers> Ha ha. Heh, don't nod so hard you make it fall off! Here, let me fit the head strap down. You can keep talking all you want, though. Let me know if anything is feeling funny.
[23:54] <Amanda Sharlan> It's much more comfortable than it looks
[23:55] <Anthony Suthers> Okay. I'm going to attach the first IV now. I adjusted the dosage a little bit, but it'll be no more than a prick, and should make this experience seem much more pleasant for you. You ready?
[23:55] <Amanda Sharlan> Yes
[23:56] * Anthony Suthers pats Amanda's arm. While hidden from her sight, he extends the large needle from his arm joint, and moves toward her vein. "It is necessary, you know. But it should also help your anxiety."
[23:57] <Anthony Suthers> Just relax, okay?
[23:57] * Amanda Sharlan lets out a deep sigh and begins to relax a bit
[00:00] * Anthony Suthers inserts the analgesic-covered needle into Amanda's vein, and begins to slowly inject her with a sedative c[BLEEP]ktail that induces calmness and euphoria.
[00:01] *** The lights visible in the goggles swirl orange and pink, blinking softly.
[00:03] * Amanda Sharlan relaxes more, falling nearly limp in the chair
[00:04] * Anthony Suthers takes this as the sign he was waiting for, and moves throughout her body, strapping her limbs and torso down securely.
[00:05] * Amanda Sharlan has a smile on her face, as if she's had an incredibly wonderful day
[00:05] * Anthony Suthers moves over to Amanda's right hand, and fits a sensor-loaded glove onto her fingers. "Alright, this is the input device, just like last time. It'll be activated as soon as you are ready."
[00:05] <Amanda Sharlan> Okay...
[00:06] <Anthony Suthers> Now, this time, no oxygen mask will be necessary. I'll be pumping the air into the isolation unit. But just relax and don't worry about that yet, okay?
[00:06] * Anthony Suthers pats Amanda's restrained shoulder.
[00:08] <Amanda Sharlan> I'm fine...
[00:08] <Anthony Suthers> Okay. Now I'm going to attach the headphones. They are padded to cut out distractions, but they are playing a pretty music to keep you from being bored,okay? Try and listen to it. It goes along with those lights you see, okay--but it's not obvious at first, so pay close attention, okay?
[00:08] <Amanda Sharlan> okay
[00:09] * Anthony Suthers secures two well-insulated earpads with speakers in them to the side of Amanda's head. Soft, calming music can be heard through them.
[00:10] * Amanda Sharlan listens intently, trying to catch the pattern of the music and the lights together.
[00:12] * Anthony Suthers smiles paternally, with relief on his face. He then goes over to Amanda's other arm, and injects her with a mild dose of dissociative tranquilizer.
[00:13] * Anthony Suthers rubs Kakanue as the medicine takes effect. "There we go. Now for the head."
[00:14] * Anthony Suthers sets down on a chair with wheels, and begins threading EEG leads through a large black hemisphere that the headrest is situated within, and attaching them with a practiced eye to certain points on his sedated ward's scalp.
[00:15] * Amanda Sharlan is not bothered by any of the movement and just continues to listen to the music
[00:16] * Anthony Suthers starts hooking up air-hoses around the periphery of Amanda's face on a special rig.
[00:17] <Anthony Suthers> There we go.
[00:17] * Anthony Suthers flicks a switch on the visor.
[00:17] *** The lights on the inside of the advisor change to a soft swirling motion, and the earphones play a constant and calming track of pink noise.
[00:18] * Anthony Suthers takes the other part of the Isolatioin Orb, and screws it down over relaxed face of Kakanue, checking the sound and electrical insulation. He fiddles with the air-hoses one last time, and starts oxygen flowing into the interior so that Amanda can breathe easily.
[00:19] * Amanda Sharlan is completely calm, the lights pulling her into a sort of trance
[00:19] * Anthony Suthers finishes Isolating Amanda's senses from the outside world, he spreads a thin cotton blanket over her, and goes over to the Integrated Computer that controls the VR experience and can feed stimuli to the subject.
[00:20] * Anthony Suthers opens a hidden compartment, and starts a specific sensory stimulation message running, over and over.
[00:21] * Anthony Suthers goes over to the IV stands, and takes the labelled bags off of them. He then opens two hidden packets in his jacket, and produces two unlabelled IV bags full of a gold-colord liquid.
[00:22] * Anthony Suthers Hooks the specially prepared concoction up to the IV stands built into the chair, and starts them flowing. He puts one needle in the left arm, and one in the right. Then he finishes hooking up Kakanue's heart-rate monitor to the medical equipment.
[00:23] *** The two IV bags of golden liquid start flowing into Kakanue, inducing a very strange sensation.
[00:24] * Anthony Suthers goes over into an easy chair, sitting next to Kakanue's head, and extends his Cable jack, plugging it into the computer, overriding the security, so that he himself can direct the experience she undergoes.
[00:26] <Anthony Suthers> And now the custome program. Let's see. She'll be kept hydrated and glucose is mixed with the solution, so there's no reason to rush.
[00:27] *** After playing the soothing sensory experience long enough for the drugs to take full effect, the VR rig, insulated from being monitored from the outside, begins something completely new, and lights turn on everywhere. Tony holds Kakanue's hand, and smiles paternally.
[00:27] <Anthony Suthers> Don't worry. I'll take care of you. You are safe now.
[00:28] * Amanda Sharlan 's happy, mello state has not changed, and she lightly squeezes his hand with a smile on her face
[00:29] *** The program loops and re-loops, making sure it runs plenty of times while the subject is pliable. The seconds turn to minutes, which turn to Hours. Tony keeps smiling, and does not move.

[22:52] *** The room has plenty of medical equipment handy, but it is dominated by what could be classified as a massive restraint chair. The chair has straps securing a woman to it, and two IVs flow into her body. Her head is covered with an opaque black sphere, which has air hoses for intake and scavenging, completely cutting her off from the outside world.
[22:55] *** An orange switch on the computer blinks orange, and the person who is plugged into it snaps to attention.

[23:03] * Anthony Suthers undoes the IV drips so his future daughter does not pull the needles.

[23:03] <Anthony Suthers> Your brainwaves DID change, and I needed to update them.
[23:04] <Anthony Suthers> The reason the immersive experience is so relaxing is that it uses biofeedback to induce you to a relaxed Alpha Brainwave state.
[23:04] <Amanda Sharlan> Oh really? It barely felt like a few minutes
[23:04] <Anthony Suthers> Well, that would be the time you had to spend in Theta state.
[23:05] <Anthony Suthers> It took a while, but you are just fine now, and I have them all down. I synced yoru brainwaves with all the interfaces you will need to use in your new position, which is why it took longer.

[23:05] * Anthony Suthers unstraps Kakanue's head, and takes the breathing assistance gear away from her head.
[23:06] <Anthony Suthers> There you go. You were out for a while, but the chair is designed to cushion you very well. so you should not be stiff.

[23:06] <Anthony Suthers> Here, you might be a little dizzy, so let me finish unstrapping you. Did you have a good rest?
[23:06] * Anthony Suthers finishes and disconnects Kakanue from the restraint chair fully.
[23:07] <Amanda Sharlan> It was very relaxing. I feel so much better.
[23:07] <Anthony Suthers> Now, let's wheel you over toward the bed.
[23:08] * Anthony Suthers pulls the bed over toward Kakanue, since it's less complex. Well, I think that this was not only necessary, but the best thing for you.
[23:08] <Anthony Suthers> I hope it was not too intimidating. I don't forsee me having to do that any more in the future, unless you wish for immersive experiences when visiting your brothers.
[23:08] <Anthony Suthers> Some of them design very interesting worlds for you to experience, too.

[23:11] * Anthony Suthers displays suprising strength, and lifts Amanda into the bed like she were a little girl.

[02:31] <Anthony Suthers> I am not sure how to refuse her. Certainly, in her capacity as Queen, she is to be obeyed upon her own world. This one, however, presents problems.
[02:31] <Anthony Suthers> I'm sure you understand that in case of problems, the safety of a monarch cannot be risked. Perhaps it would be wiser to admit.... hmm.
[02:32] <Amanda Sharlan> She knows who and what she can trust. While I don't believe that she would cause us any problems, it would be a nightmare trying to make sure she isn't targeted as well for any reason.

[02:33] <Anthony Suthers> She has several relations, but they are also not from this world.
[02:35] <Amanda Sharlan> Are you preferring we represent her with someone from this one?
[02:37] <Anthony Suthers> I'm not certain. I think it is wisest for anybody who does not have proper papers and is caught skulking around to be brought to Containment at once, and means will have to be escalated if they resist.
[02:38] <Anthony Suthers> In order to cut down on having to execute or capture their spies or bodyguards, I invited the bosses of the spies, so they would not have to send any.
[02:38] <Anthony Suthers> It certainly will make it more orderly, but I now fear a diplomatic incident.
[02:38] <Anthony Suthers> Perhaps it would be best to have it in the BACK-UP location, where fewer laws are in effect.
[02:39] <Anthony Suthers> I'll have to look further at the requirements of observing diplomatic immunity of an entitiy not recognized by the UN, or anyone else.

[02:39] <Amanda Sharlan> I think the largest downside to spies at all is credibility and trustworthiness. They are spies afterall...
[02:43] <Anthony Suthers> Well, remember, if things go bad, we always have the interwiew on Ginga to patch things up, and explain that it was corporate sabotage.
[02:43] <Anthony Suthers> Hopefully, thath won't be necessary, of course. I want this to go off without a hitch.

[02:44] <Anthony Suthers> I think that, in order to ensure our respective safety, you should stay in the control room while I escort the Guests through the scales, into the specially-prepared Biosuits, and into the final room, if necessary.
[02:44] <Anthony Suthers> There is no reason to allow both of us to be threatened at once.
[02:45] <Amanda Sharlan> I can agree to that.
[02:45] <Amanda Sharlan> I will certainly do everything I can to make sure everything runs smoothly.
[02:48] <Anthony Suthers> We will need to remember to file everything correctly under intellectual property and privacy laws. We should make sure that there can be no warrants served to gain entry.

[02:52] <Anthony Suthers> We will need to make sure this is a local project, and to not that we do not intend to export beyond what we can handle. There's no need to attract the attention of more Law Enforcement Agencies than we can safetly deal with at once.
