[20:04] *** Natalia Island is clearly some kind of artificial construct supported by a number of biomechanical lifter pods that are at least several hundred years old. No clue yet on who built it or why, but it was impressive to see.

[20:05] *** AnTil and Catriona however, had their OWN tale to tell of an extremely close call with something massive, aggressive, and terrifying that inflicted serious damage on their SeaDasher that required repairs.

[20:48] *** Monica, as you get close to that blocky thing on the right of the arch, it folds open to reveal a rectangular indentation. Something apparently needs to be placed there.

[20:49] *** The archway is actually an entrance, for beyond the force field you can see a passage leading further inside. You've also located something lying partially buried in the sand.

[20:52] *** What you've found is a broken half of what looks like a rectangular plate composed of some kind of ceramic-like substance. One side is partially covered in purple diagrams and patterns.

[21:12] <Monica> Looks like it fits into that door we saw.

[21:15] <Chibi-Catri> Hold on, Monica. We're getting a message from the ship.

[21:22] * Chibi-AnTil speaks into the makeshift vox-set. "This is AnTilZha Langister-Amestris. We've reached the rendezvous site and we have multiple people with us. How long until the transport arrives? Do you have an ETA?"

[21:28] *** The tower tilts, then slowly swings around, and aims a different portion of itself up into the dark sky.

[21:30] *** A single meteor streaks through the sky, vanishing a few seconds later. Soon you all can hear a distant whining sound that's definitely getting closer.

[21:35] *** The Pelican dropship quickly approaches the island and a loud BOOMING sound starts radiating out from it as it opens fire with its autocannons, strafing the empty parts of the beach near the waterline.
[21:36] * Monica picks up the speed as she does her damnest to shuttle everyone out of the line of fire!
[21:36] * The Kits all scatter and dive for cover. Gwen also goes to help Monica and Vicky
[21:36] <Monica> Take it this "Alliance" has something against us?
[21:37] <Fiona> The Interstellar Alliance tried to kill everyone in the Van Saar Federation during the Zealot War!
[21:38] * Chibi-Catri is opening fire upon the dropship with her lascarbine.
[21:38] <Monica> ...oh great, and now they're here to capitalize.
[21:38] * Fiona grabs all of the clyunos and dataslates and runs back to one of the SeaDashers, intending to get it back into the water!
[21:39] <Fiona> HURRY! If we lose both of the subs we'll be stranded here!
[21:39] * Monica nods, and secures the plaque within her tail as she works to help Fiona get everything into the subs!
[21:40] * Chibi-Sylvester pulls Vicky into the other SeaDasher with him and starts activating the controls.

[21:41] *** Meanwhile, something is happening with the "tower" now. The end that's pointing up into the sky is starting to glow brightly.

[21:43] *** The tower opens fire and something out of sight in the sky explodes spectacularly!!

[21:47] <Monica> ...that tower's an automated defense turret!

[21:50] *** Victoria, you DO notice something strange. No one has been hurt by the Pelican dropship AT ALL. Either they're the WORST shots, or they're deliberately missing. It's like they're trying to drive everyone from the area and back into the sea. Or into cover.

[21:54] * Monica continues assisting.
[21:54] *** The dropship hovers overhead and skims the beach, putting itself between everyone and the alien building. Meanwhile, the "tower" is in the process of resetting itself. You can also see more meteors streaking through the sky. More dropships are approaching!
[21:57] *** The Pelican suddenly lurches HARD as a drop pod smashes into one of its engines, nearly sending the ship into an out-of-control spin. The drop-pod in question keeps going (while in flames) and impacts the side of the hill with an explosion like a bunker-buster missile.
[21:59] *** More drop pods are falling towards the island. One of them falls short and hits the water. It floats for a few seconds, then it's YANKED underwater.

[22:02] <Chibi-AnTil> Everyone! Back to the SeaDashers! Now!!

[22:04] * The Kits all POOF into fox form and pile inside.
[22:05] * Gwen takes the controls of one of the subs. Fiona takes control of the other.

[22:05] * Monica moves to the rear to ensure everyone has made it inside.

[13:52] *** 'The Princess and the Raven' is a novella/short story (written by yours truly) about a Princess who bucks the traditions set to her by her father, the King, and wants to live her own way and make her own rules. She wants to find her own love and not be forced to marry whomever her father wants. She meets up with a mysterious boy who comes from a war torn country half way around the world.
[13:52] *** The two manage to fall in love amidst plots of betrayal, and subterfuge, and magic. There are plenty of twists and turns in the story to keep anyone excited about, let alone the 11 year old Hachi.

[20:00] *** Inside the alien structure, the walls and ceiling are all constructed out of the same stone-like ceramic composite that's uniformly harder than diamond. The carved grooves and indentations on the walls form patterns that seem indicative of language, but all of it's unintelligible.

[12:40] *** It's lunch time once again for the students of Matsuume Elementary! Rather than eating her lunch in class, Hachi and her friends Kana, Mori, and Ruri have decided to eat their lunches on the top of the roof.
[12:40] *** Kana has reluctantly gotten used to the close friendship that Hachi and Ruri created seemingly over night.
[12:42] *** Mori is ambivalent. As long as there isn't any drama going on, he's pretty content being by Kana's side.
[12:48] *** Hachi is ecstatic these days! She doesn't seem to have a care in the world outside of her life at school and Academy City. She's enjoying studying, learning new things in her advanced classes, and hanging out with her best friends afterwards. Reluctantly, she goes home on the weekends to the large Inochi Suite in the Hotel in Tokyo but she's always eager again to get back to Academy City come Monday.
[12:49] *** Ruri has settled nicely in the technologically advanced Academy City. She can't believe how true it is when they say the city is 20 to 30 years more advanced technologically than anywhere else in the world. Her blooming friendship to Hachi has been a life saver; she felt like she didn't have a purpose in life before meeting Hachi!

The deeply colored sky is in a perpetual twilight; the twinkle of floating lanterns cast a cool glow to light the curving stone paths that lead back to awe-inspiring castle in the distance.
[20:15] *** While the air is cool, it is dry and a pleasing scent lingers in the air. The lights sparkle and glow brighter as people move by them.

[22:47] <Prince Matsuou> they say it was the life blood of the seas of Europia and combined into a single object..which they combined with the silver crystal.....the empress always carries it into battle
[22:47] *** The view is much different as they land in the Space Port, however. Through the windows, rather than barren flatlands, they can see a thriving city all around them. The grey, metallic, city shines with a gleaming light. In the distance, high above the squat, domed buildings that make up most of the city, sits the main castle; an incredible display of architecture full of spires and lines and crystalline surfaces.

[22:51] *** A trio of figures exit one of the carriages and walk up to the base of the path that leads from their ship. The door to the ship opens, letting in a blast of chilled, snowy air.

His pale blue eyes shine like diamonds as the wrinkles in the corner of his eyes crinkle with his pearly white, broad smile.

[23:15] *** The doors close behind them as they settle themselves in the rounded carriage on soft, plush, cushions. Silently, the carriages begin to move forward.

[23:17] *** As the carriages float on, they can see through the sheer and lace-edged curtains the city as they swiftly move past.
[23:17] *** The main roadway was a crystalline sheet with what seemed like an infinite lattice of metal strands interwoven in the ground, glowing to indicate the flow of traffic. As they passed the opulent buildings on either side of the roadway, she could see that the metal latticework continued into the walls and roofs of the buildings, melding with each surface so that, after a while, one wouldn’t notice the artistic twisting lines of metal.

[23:28] *** The carriages enter the inner courtyard of the castle yard and slow to a stop, descending. Ahead of them are two, immensely large and opulent crystalline doors, shimmering with silver sparkles. In front of the doors stand a crowd of servants. Half of them are dressed in the light blue, black, and silver trim of Emperor Kenzo's legion. The other half are dressed in deep blue, white, and silver trim of Empress Yukimi's legion.
[23:29] * Emperor Kenzo exits the first carriage which cause the waiting crowd to deeply bow.
[23:30] * The royals exit the carrage
[23:30] * Emperor Kenzo rolls his eyes as he waits for the prince and princess to exit.
[23:31] <Emperor Kenzo> Unfortunately, we can't get to the festivities until you all have your official arrival meeting with the Empress. She's waiting for you now in the Moonlight Throne Room.
[23:31] * Emperor Kenzo winks salaciously at the two royals.
[23:32] * Neo Sailor Mercury exits her carriage with the others. Some of the Quinoxian servants stay behind and the 7 of them are urged to continue onwards with the rest of the guards and servants.

[23:33] * Mary Lou Kakaku goes with the others (unless she's part of the 7)
[23:35] * Harusawa remains near the back of the group, eyes focused on taking in the surroundings.
[23:36] * CherryBlossomStorm has been keeping a close eye on things as well.
[23:36] *** The group is led into the castle. It is absolutely extravagant in its opulence. Silver gilding sparkle in the glowing lights of the high ceilings. The walls are carved in intricate patterns and laid with the latticed metalwork for heat.
[23:37] *** Some of the Europan servants, in both sets of uniforms, mingle behind their group, speaking with the Quinoxian servants they recognize from the royal's last visit. The group of 7 are secluded a bit from the others, following closer behind the prince, princess, and emperor.
[23:39] *** A laaaarge archway that extends to the ceiling is filledd with a milky, opaque, moonstone-like liquid. As Emperor Kenzo approaches it, it disintegrates, revealing to them that it's the Moonlight Throne Room. It's breathtaking.
[23:40] <Harusawa> (This place is way too gaudy for my tastes.... and way too bright.)
[23:40] <Megan O`Cain> Dean, see if you scan for any electronics. If there is, conduct data mining operations for information we need.
[23:41] <Dean> At once, Captain. I will be as discrete as possible so that they will not suspect a thing.
[23:41] <CherryBlossomStorm> (Absolutely awesome architecture... an amazing achievement. )
[23:41] *** The herald, whose voice echoes in the crystals situated throughout the throne room, calls out, "His Imperial Majesty of Sidon, Warrior-King, Emperor Kenzo!"

[23:42] *** The technology is so intertwined with their magics its hard to tell the two apart.
[23:42] * The royals stand, watching
[23:43] *** The herald calls out "Her Royal Highness, Princess Matsama and His Royal Highness, Prince Matsuou, of Quinox, Unity of Quinox."
[23:43] *** The herald eyes the group curiously as they pass through but doesn't mention them.
[23:43] * Dean begins his covert mission of data mining
[23:45] *** They make their way down the aisle, brave and confident. Political members representing the Europan colonies and territories fill the sides of the room as they stare at the Prince and Princess of Quinox, hushed and excitedly whispering.
[23:45] * Neo Sailor Mercury stares in awe at the figure on the throne.
[23:46] * The royals of Quinox are..polite to each
[23:48] * Mary Lou Kakaku curtseys to the figure.
[23:49] *** The figure on the throne is inconceivably beautiful. She stands as Emperor Kenzo makes his way up the few marble steps to the top of the dais. Empress Yukimi is slender, petite, buxom, and clad in the finest silks and fabrics that drape over her body, showing off her curves and flowing out behind her like an avalanche. Atop her head is a crown of crystal slivers and gems, a sideways crescent moon at its center.
[23:49] * Megan O`Cain stays with the others while Dean conducts his covert work
[23:50] <Harusawa> (So that's the one at the center of this whole debacle.)
[23:50] * Empress Yukimi eyes the Prince and Princess with cool, deep blue eyes. She looks to be in her late thirties as well, though no gray hairs, unlike the Emperor. Her ivory skin is creamy and free from blemish as she smiles, her lips full and pink.
[23:51] <Emperor Kenzo> My love, I have returned with our guests.
[23:51] <CherryBlossomStorm> (Why do I get a Thulsa Doom vibe from this one)
[23:51] * Emperor Kenzo goes to the Empress, snakes his arm around her waist and kisses her deeply in a display of both affection and power.
[23:53] * Empress Yukimi briefly caresses the Emperor's tanned cheek before she breaks the kiss, a wicked gleam in her eyes. She then steps away from the Emperor, her staff leaning against her throne behind her, as she walks down the steps to meet the two royals.
[23:53] * Neo Sailor Mercury looks very pale and tries not to gag.
[23:53] * Mary Lou Kakaku completely hides her disgust.
[23:53] * CherryBlossomStorm seems politely indifferent to it all
[23:54] * Emperor Kenzo leans against his smaller, slightly less opulent throne, though he dares not to sit.
[23:54] <Empress Yukimi> Princess Matsama! Prince Matsuou! Oh it's so good to see you both again.
[23:54] <Empress Yukimi> It's been far too long since you've graced us with your presence.
[23:55] * Neo Sailor Mercury does her best not to be seen by the Empress or Emperor as she stands behind the taller members of their group, looking down at the ground.
[23:55] <Princess Matsama> a pleasure as usual...my mother sends her regards
[23:56] * Princess Yukimi nods.
[23:56] <Empress Yukimi> I hope she recovers soon.
[23:57] <Empress Yukimi> Your arrival took longer than expected. Have you not updated your fleet with the new Toan Gemarias? It makes flying that much faster.
[23:57] * Empress Yukimi smiles, clearly rubbing it in their faces.
[23:58] * Emperor Kenzo watches the Empress and the Prince and Princess before his eyes begin to wander to the group several feet behind them.
[23:59] * Emperor Kenzo hides a smile as he likes what he sees in nearly all of the members of the group. (My my, what a varied party they've brought with them this time.)

[00:01] * Princess Matsama explains that they are trying to do their best with their current technology
[00:01] * Empress Yukimi smirks

[00:03] * Empress Yukimi glances to the side as she notices Kenzo coming up from down the dais.
[00:04] <Emperor Kenzo> Are these your personal attendants for this trip? We can set them up in servants wing besides your guest wing, if you'd like.

[00:07] * Sailor Europa shifts nervously and whispers, "Is this our chance? If we go with them to the room maybe we could ask them for help?"
[00:07] * CherryBlossomStorm anticipates everything going on in these guest wings will be surveilled.
[00:08] <CherryBlossomStorm> Assume the walls have eyes and ears.
[00:08] <Sailor Europa> Can Matsumi block it? Or maybe Haru?
[00:08] * CherryBlossomStorm is wary of this Empress, but completely hides the fact
[00:09] <Harusawa> I could give it a shot, but it may take a moment to understand it all.
[00:09] <CherryBlossomStorm> Perhaps, but you have to rememebr, if they see *nothing* they'll know *something* is up.
[00:09] * Empress Yukimi gives a steely eyed look at the Emperor. She's recognizes the interest showing in his eyes and smiles thinly.

[00:10] * Empress Yukimi claps her hands twice, which causes all of the other members of the Empire of Europa to stiffen to attention, going silent.
[00:12] * Empress Yukimi states in a commanding voice, her voice echoing like the sound of snow falling in an empty snow-laden chasm. "Retire to your rooms. The festivities will begin tonight. You will summoned. Go."
[00:12] *** The Europans bow deeply and quickly begin exiting the throne room; most through the main entrance and some through the several side entrances. The few guards remain covering the entrances/exits.
[00:13] <Empress Yukimi> Brother, dear, you may take these commoners to their quarters. I'll see that the Prince and Princess are settled in for the day.
[00:14] <CherryBlossomStorm> If the Ops are *covert* enough it should be fine, depending on their tech level?
[00:14] * Emperor Kenzo nods, kissing Yukimi's exposed shoulder with a low murmur. He walks past his sister, past the two royals from Quinox, and arrives in front of the group, eyeing them appreciatively.
[00:16] * Empress Yukimi tosses a strand of her incredibly long, chocolate-brown hair, over her shoulder as it cascades down her back to mid-calf in beautiful, wavy ringlets.
[00:17] * Empress Yukimi chats amiably enough as she leads the two Quinoxian to her private quarters, their guards joining the three of them.
[00:17] * Emperor Kenzo eyes them, a slow grin forming on his face.
[00:18] <Emperor Kenzo> I'll help you all get settled in for the weekend long celebrations.
[00:18] <Harusawa> (If this a[BLEEP]le even tries anything I will *rip* it off.)

[00:18] * Emperor Kenzo turns and heads to one of the side exits, expecting the group to follow him.

[00:19] * Neo Sailor Mercury follows mechanically. She looks shell shocked.

[00:22] * Emperor Kenzo leads the group down a series of hallways, down the servants wing until he arrives to a large, white, opaline door. It slides open, revealing a very spacious living area, with several bedrooms available to them. In the center of the room stands a shousun servant. She bows deeply as the Emperor enters.

[00:23] <Emperor Kenzo> These are the Quinoxian's special servants.
[00:24] * Emperor Kenzo walks over to the servant as he eyes her figure very appreciatively, "Please take care of their every need."

[00:24] * Lurina bows once again.
[00:25] * Emperor Kenzo turns back to the group, smiling.
[00:25] <Emperor Kenzo> Can I interest any of you in a.... private meeting of my own?

[00:34] * Lurina goes over to Mercury and Europa, keeping her gaze low.

[00:34] * CherryBlossomStorm chuckles inwardly. "I do apolofgize my lord, but it si an unfirtuante time fo the month for myself.

There are medical injections for ease of comfort in the bathing chamber. If you need more of my assistance, I will be sleeping in my round floor bed in the main room.

[20:56] <Dean> From what I could surmise from the information you see before you, this was considered their top secret file. The previous Empress and a team of scientists were on Jupiter to deterime how to harness its energy in a death ray of a sort. Some time had passed, and it was used to destroy the planet Eden as a form of punishment for it rebelling against the Europan Empire.
[20:56] * Harusawa remains silent as she takes a look at what Dean dug up. (Good a time as any to record these internally.)
[20:58] <Hachi> Eden? Is that what the asteroid belt?
[20:58] <Hachi> (I wonder if the senshi of the asteroids get their power from the remnants of Eden?)
[20:59] <Dean> Furthermore, Gren-gar came into possesion of tubular crystals. He wanted to study these particular crystals for himself. When the Emprie learned of his work, they wanted his research. However, he refused to do so. At some point, a war broke out between the two. Gren-gar became the head of his species and launched an attack against a science station. The Europan Empress sent her forces to eliminate the threat, and named Kenzo and Yukimi as the head of their forces.
[21:01] <Harusawa> (I'm betting it's due to these crystals he's got his abilities of parasiting and using it as a shield.)
[21:03] <Dean> During the fighting, the species known as Junovians were essentially extinct except for Gren-gar, for he could not be defeated. Therefore, Yukimi used her stone by taking the life forces of the remaining Europan military under her command as a sacrifice, and used that power to banish Gren-gar from this universe. Considering past events in our home universe, it would appear that their banishment has now made it our problem to solve.

[22:59] * Empress Yukimi reaches out and grabs the pike. The stone blade crackles and sparks, sounding like lightning shouting across the empty snowfields.

[19:59] * High up in orbit several ships of the Federation Fleet move into position over Japan. Two Exeter-class destroyers begin to descend into the atmosphere to provide low-altitude support while the Aika Sumeragi launches ALL of her small craft to support the evacuations AND combat operations.
[19:59] *** Throughout the cracks caused by the earthquakes, smaller versions of Gren-gar begin spewing forth to cause even more chaos on the people attempting to flee the destruction.

[20:01] *** The gang swiftly follow Sailor Triton! Adrenaline surges through them as they dodge molten rocks and miniature Gren-gars.

[20:03] * Neo Sailor Neptune is doing her hardest on the southern coast of Japan to stop or divert the multitude of tsunami.
[20:04] * Noriko Marianna Xadium and Intern decide to put the Prrotectoris Initiative into real-world operation, and summon highly advanced alein vessels from all over the quadrant, as well as Sailor Corps relief teams to combat the elements and assist in atmospheric and structural stabilization to allow the fighters more flexibility to operate.
[20:04] * Cubus Gigant gives a flap of his immense wings to blow the ash out of the area!
[20:04] * Imperial Guard Warlocks and combat engineers work like crazy to build/materialize as many breakwaters as possible to help diminish the effects of the tsunamis a little.
[20:05] *** Civilians scream as the hollowed out earth, the ground that had been tug into and turned into caverns and tunes for months, finally crumble and collapse beneath them due to all of the stress going on.
[20:05] * Hachi senses her sister drawing near (They're coming for me!!!)
[20:05] * Yukari Yakumo opens portals to try and save as many civilians as she can!

[20:06] *** The civilians scream as they fall into the portals! They clamber onto any trucks or vehicles that are attempting to save them. The populace of Japan is freaking the f[BLEEP]k out!
[20:06] * Zotia gives the command for incredibly-expansive packages to be dropped into the newly created chasms! Their purpose? Plenty of stability for the ground forces!
[20:06] * Protectories-allied starships start beaming out survivors and beaming them down several miles away in safe zones
[20:07] * Sailor Skathi pulls out some trees and tries to use it to create a makeshift blockade
[20:07] * Yukari Yakumo portals everyone she can onto any evacuation ships she can. Including the Aika Sumeragi since that thing can easily accommodate hundreds of thousands!
[20:08] * The Archangel Tyreal radios Yukari and Aika, informing them that they're also prepared to accomodate any refugees.
[20:08] *** The group arrives, finding themselves miles north of Academy City. What was once a booming, mid-sized city and its suburbs have been brought to ruin. A large, miles-long crater is all they can see. Even from this distance, they can see a large, bulbous creature blocking out part the skyline. Its glowing body is eerily lit red by the glow of fires caused by the lava and earthquakes.
[20:09] <D.Kakaku> what's the red thing?
[20:09] <Super Sailor Nereid> ....if I had to guess, the monster behind all of this.
[20:09] <Neo Sailor Mercury> It's...him....
[20:10] * The battleship Aika Sumeragi scans the situation and begins to scramble fighters and bombers, as well as provides everyone with satellite views of Academy City and the thing dwelling there.
[20:10] * Neo Sailor Mercury burns with raaaaaaaaaaaaage! Her Frost Veil flows over her eyes as she scans the area, looking for Hachi or any other life forms.
[20:11] * CherryBlossomStorm is helping find and rescue survivors and keeping them out of the line of fire so the senshi can work
[20:12] *** Academy City, for it being 20 to 30 years ahead technologically from the rest of Japan, seems to be doing pretty well under the circumstances. They readily open their doors to take in any refugees from nearby Tokyo and other adjacent towns and cities.

[20:12] <Neo Sailor Mercury> Sailor Triton, that's Hachi, isn't it?
[20:13] * Neo Sailor Mercury points to a cavern off to the side of the crater, its oddly green and blue soft glow barely visible from the red light in the center of the crater.
[20:13] * Two huge fireballs are descending through the atmosphere on a direct course towards Academy City. Both Exeters are on final approach.
[20:14] * Super Sailor Nereid does a quick sense of things in the cavern's direction. What might she find?

[20:14] *** Nereid finds odd crystal energy sources! They seem like nothing of this earth. An odd life force seems near Hachi but she can't make out what it is.

[20:15] * Neo Sailor Mercury stares off into the distance at the unmoving Gren-gar.
[20:15] <Super Sailor Nereid> ...there's odd sources over there, definitely nothing from around here. Someone or something's guarding Hachi---- be on guard.
[20:15] * D.Kakaku Dives through on the FlyCycle
[20:15] * Neo Sailor Mercury nods.
[20:16] <Neo Sailor Mercury> Come on. If we're quick, maybe he won't see us. (Fat chance....)
[20:16] * Neo Sailor Mercury rushes towards where Hachi supposedly is being helming, stumbling on the uneven rocks and dirt.

[20:17] * Sailor Triton holds onto the pike, following as best she can
[20:17] * Super Sailor Nereid works to suppress her signature as she moves over towards the cavern, wary for whatever might come forth.
[20:17] *** The magma/lava has also flowed through the multitude of tunnels and caverns beneath all of Japan as well!
[20:18] * Gren-gar shifts as he senses....them...
[20:18] * Gren-gar turns towards the group, miles away from them.
[20:18] <Gren-gar> ♦ DO YOU SEE YOUR IMMINENT DESTRUCTION, CHILDREN OF THE ICE MOON?

[20:19] * Yukari Yakumo opens big portals in the paths of the lava flows in an attempt to send them elsewhere...like the surface of the Moon.
[20:19] <D.Kakaku> Why are you destroying Earth?
[20:20] *** Gren-gar doesn't hear Daniel because he is miles away in the center of the crater.
[20:20] * The Exeter destroyers finish re-entry and slowly approach Academy City, bringing their void shields, point-defense weapons, and pulse-blaster batteries online.
[20:20] <D.Kakaku> no response?... well then.
[20:20] <Super Sailor Nereid> He's miles away, Danny. Ignore him and keep moving.
[20:21] <D.Kakaku> What'd you think I was going to to, try again.
[20:21] <Super Sailor Nereid> Knowing you, yes.
[20:21] *** The group manages to make their way to the cavern. They pause, 20 or so feet before the entrance. A figure stands there.
[20:22] <D.Kakaku> ok, who the hell is that?
[20:23] * Ruri Hauyne stands there at the entrance of the cave. Her body no longer has its smooth, human finish. Her flesh, clothes, hair, everything, takes on a rocky and jagged, crystalline quality. Her purple eyes are beacons of swirling energy.
[20:23] * The first wave of Marauder bombers begin attacking the massive creature on the surface, blasting it with alternative waves of Anti-Magic and Anti-demon warheads.
[20:23] <Super Sailor Nereid> So that's Hachi's kidnapper?
[20:24] * The Exeters start blasting the HELL out of the creature on the surface with anti-starship blaster cannons from a distance.
[20:25] * Ruri Hauyne calls out, not so much to the group, but to Gren-gar. "Father. They have arrived to save the girl."
[20:25] <Super Sailor Nereid> So she's one of his constructs... if she's like the jewelry from before then that must've been how she got so close.
[20:26] <Sailor Triton> GIVE ME BACK MY SISTER!!!!!!!!
[20:26] * Gren-gar detaches his forelimb from the earth and submerges it into the red glowing lava. It pools up his arm, covering the variety of gems, swirling energies, stones, and nth metal that is his body. The lava turns an odd purple color as it mixes with his body.
[20:26] * Ruri Hauyne stares impassively at Sailor Triton.
[20:26] * Ruri Hauyne merely turns around and heads back into the cavern.
[20:27] * The first wave of Marauder bombers start to withdraw to rearm, having expended all ordnance.
[20:28] *** The volcanic eruptions seem to be simmering down finally. Most, especially those farthest away from Tokyo, seem to be stopping completely.
[20:29] <Neo Sailor Mercury> GIVE ME BACK MY DAuGHTER!
[20:29] * Neo Sailor Mercury rushes into the cavern without thinking.
[20:29] * Sailor Triton is ANGRY
[20:30] <Sailor Triton> MAMA!
[20:30] * Super Sailor Nereid quickly follows Mercury and Triton!

[20:31] * The Exeters keep firing at Gren-gar, dull glows beginning to emanate from the large spinal-mount apertures mounted beneath their prows. RAILGUNS CHARGING.
[20:31] *** The Sailor Senshi, and those that joined them, enter the cavern. It lights up, the crystals glowing even brighter, giving off an oddly sickening green and blue hue. Hachi is held captive on the far wall. Outside, they hear Gren-gar roar with laughter.
[20:32] <Hachi> MAMA! DELILHA!!!
[20:32] * Hachi struggles to move, tears streaming down her cheeks, but she is unable.
[20:32] * Ruri Hauyne stands between the group and Hachi, gazing at them impassively.
[20:33] <D.Kakaku> Hey, hachi, did this girl hurt you?
[20:33] <Ruri Hauyne> She's mine.
[20:33] <Ruri Hauyne> Go away.
[20:33] * Neo Sailor Mercury sputters.
[20:34] * Gren-gar ROARS! His voice shakes the very ground and air.
[20:34] <Sailor Triton> n..NO
[20:34] <Sailor Triton> YOU CAN'T HAVE HER
[20:34] <Gren-gar> ♦ KILL THE GIRL, DAUGHTER! KILL HER! MAKE HER FAMILY SUFFER LIKE I DID! MAKE THEM WATCH AS THEIR LOVED ONES ARE SLAUGHTERED RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM.
[20:35] * Ruri Hauyne doesn't.... respond. Nor does she make a move, oddly enough. She still stands there, acting like a barrier.

[20:36] * Super Sailor Nereid subtly settles into a stance ready to spring forward, if need be.
[20:36] <Sailor Triton> wh..why isn't she attacking
[20:36] * Gren-gar doesn't seem to be hurt or phased by the blasts from the ships. He aims the crystal protrusions that protrude from his back like the bones of an ankylosaurus and shoots off blasts of molten rock energies at the ships. Gren-gar is....incomprehsibly large at this point.
[20:37] <Ruri Hauyne> I told you to go away.
[20:37] <Hachi> Let me go, Ruri! Mama! Onee-chan! Minna!! Help me!!
[20:37] * Hachi cries!
[20:37] <Super Sailor Nereid> Not without her. Why're you so obsessed with trying to kill these people?
[20:39] * Neo Sailor Mercury aims, crying out "Snowmelt Flood!" She sends out a blast of liquid-like ice at the girl.
[20:39] * Ruri Hauyne is hit!
[20:39] * The Exeters are bombarded by the molten rocks, their void shields shuddering under the assault. The Enginariums divert more power into the void shield generators to minimize the damage.
[20:39] * Ruri Hauyne stumbles one step at the force of the blast but takes it easily enough. She shakes her head, her body growing white hot, and the ice and water evaporate instantly.
[20:39] * Ruri Hauyne narrows her eyes.
[20:40] * Gren-gar begins slowly moving towards the cavern where the group is.
[20:40] <Super Sailor Nereid> (Must also be using the stolen energy to stall us.)
[20:40] <Gren-gar> ♦ KILL THE GIRL! KILL HER! DESTROY HER! CRUSH HER BONES INTO A FINE POWDER!!
[20:40] <Sailor Triton> NO!!!!!!
[20:41] *** Gren-gar is sounding angry. Well, angrier than he has been. It's hard to tell. He's a very angry and ancient monster of destruction.
[20:41] * Ruri Hauyne turns to Hachi.
[20:41] * Hachi shrieks!
[20:41] <Hachi> G-go away!!!!
[20:41] * Ruri Hauyne smiles a...small...sad...smile.
[20:41] * The Exeters aim their prows at Gren-gar. There's a pause...then both Exeters FIRE their spinal mounts, each propelling a single harpoon of Anti-magical metal jacketed in steel at hypersonic velocities. Yes, they're firing at a fraction of their normal power.
[20:42] <Gren-gar> ♦ KILL HER!!!!!
[20:42] * Gren-gar sends a burst of energy to his creation.
[20:42] * D.Kakaku readies his arrows.
[20:42] * Ruri Hauyne stumbles from the sudden onslaught of energy from her creator. She falls to one knee nearer Hachi, quivering.
[20:42] * Ruri Hauyne shakes her head as she reaches out with one quivering arm.
[20:43] <Super Sailor Nereid> ....you don't want to kill her, do you?
[20:43] * Hachi stares at Ruri, terrified.
[20:44] <Neo Sailor Mercury> Enough of this!
[20:44] <Neo Sailor Mercury> Triton, let's go.
[20:44] * Neo Sailor Mercury points to the pike, her voice cold and deadly.
[20:44] <Neo Sailor Mercury> Let's see if that b[BLEEP]ch's weapon is of any use.
[20:44] * Neo Sailor Mercury rushes headfirst towards Hachi and Ruri, expecting Triton and the others to be behind her.
[20:44] * The Marauder bombers return for a second attack run and start bombarding Gren-gar with more Anti-magical ordnance, attempting to drain it of energy.

[20:45] * Sailor Triton looks at Ruri.....looks at her eyes
[20:45] * D.Kakaku follows neo mercury
[20:46] * Gren-gar is distracted from his mounting anger at the girl not being killed yet. He laughs as the nth metal in his body, plus his natural, other dimensional defense, seem to negate the attacks.
[20:46] *** That or he's really good at recovering. It's hard to tell in the low light....
[20:46] * Ruri Hauyne turns to face the oncoming crowd as she struggles to get to her feet.
[20:47] * Neo Sailor Mercury attacks Ruri with her kyoketsu-shoge, attempting to latch onto the girl with her chain!
[20:47] * Ruri Hauyne grabs the chain that's wrapped around her arm. It disintegrates!
[20:48] * Neo Sailor Mercury cries out as, of course, her powers are absolutely negated.

[20:49] * The Marauder bombers are joined by the Thunderbolt squadrons from the Aika Sumeragi and continue to blast Gren-gar with autocannons and pulse-lasers while the Exeters prepare to fire again.

[20:50] *** Ruri doesn't seem....threatening. It seems like she's struggling with something within her. Her voice is croaking, cracking, though she remains expressionless.

[20:52] *** Gren-gar doesn't hear Ruri's whisper as he is gleefully distracted the amount of destruction he is causing to the forces outside.

[20:53] * Capt. David O`Cain and his family (Gavrison, Megan, Donovan, and Michelle) all fire off their Delta Lasers at Gren-gar from atop the roofs of buildings at different angles

[20:53] * The Marauder bombers receive a signal and immediately start flying away at maximum speed. Something is incoming!

[20:57] * Ruri Hauyne rushes the few steps it takes to get to Hachi.
[20:57] * Sailor Triton tries to get in the way of Ruri!
[20:58] *** Outside, Gren-gar commands the swirling pool of lava to spew forth. As if he were lava-bending, he sends the lava flowing like a river to the forces on the ground and in the air.
[20:58] * The missiles home in on Gren-gar. Each one will detonate in a blast of powerful Death-aspected magical energy with Shield spells autocast around them to channel the energies forward...like a magical shaped-charge explosion.
[20:58] * Super Sailor Nereid goes to use the Instantaneous Movement to close the distance and stop Ruri!
[20:58] * Ruri Hauyne finds herself surrounded by Nereid and Triton!
[20:59] * Ruri Hauyne grabs at them in an attempt to shove them away! She blindly pushes out at them, accidentally grabbing onto Triton's pike....
[20:59] * Ruri Hauyne SCREAMS!!!!!!!
[20:59] <Super Sailor Nereid> !! The pike! Triton, jab her again!
[20:59] * Sailor Triton pushes the pike against Ruri!
[21:00] *** The blade of the pike bursts in a flash of bright white light as Ruri holds onto it momentarily. As if she were burned by it, Ruri dashes back away from it, tripping over Hachi's outstretched legs and falling to the floor.

[21:00] <Super Sailor Nereid> What's it made of and where can we get more of it?
[21:00] * Capt. David O`Cain and his family dodge the lava as they proceed to fire ball after ball of energy at Gren-gar, and throwing in the occasional blast from a random Senshi Upgrade at him in the mix

[21:01] * The Exeters fire their spinal-mounts at Gren-gar again, projecting their railgun shards at a small fraction of the speed of light.
[21:01] *** With Ruri spasming from the pain of the pike touching her, her concentration is broken...
[21:02] *** The crystal restrains holding onto Hachi crumble to pieces...
[21:02] * Hachi sobs as her broken arms and legs are freed.
[21:02] * Neo Sailor Mercury dashes over to Triton, Nereid, Hachi, and Rudi.

[21:05] * The Exeters keep firing despite the damage they're starting to take. Their shields are barely holding and their hulls are scarred. Their radiator fins have auto-extended to try and deal with the massive heat they're being subjected to.

[21:05] <Super Sailor Nereid> She's likely thinking what I'm thinking--- this kid... Ruri, wanted nothing to do with Gren-Gar's hollow revenge scheme, but as she's part of him, she couldn't defy him entirely.
