[19:11] *** The FtO has been modified rather extensively. On her outer hull a pair of recessed modules have been carefully welded to the conning tower on either side, each module housing a camera drone controllable by remote.
[19:12] *** The interior of the submarine has been changed around too. In the large chamber between the Bridge and Engine section the crew bunks and some of the storage lockers have been taken out.
[19:14] *** In their place are a few somewhat-crudely transplanted optronic processors, the control console for the camera drones, a bunch of miscellaneous computer equipment, and lots and lots of insulated wiring and cables running back and forth...some of which has been attached to the walls via duct tape.
[19:17] *** A holo-display table has been set up inside the bridge, but it takes up a lot of the available space, forcing everyone else to squeeze around it without much room to spare.
[19:18] <Crewman Patricia Martin> I'm monitoring the capacitor readouts now. We're at 100% charge.
[19:19] <Fiona> Tsukasa and I are at the camera control station. Ready to start.

[19:37] *** The lights onboard the FtO dim a little as power is redirected to the jury-rigged sensors. Tsukasa and Fiona each listen and watch with apprehension as the computer systems start to loudly buzz, hum, and make whining sounds like Dial-up from 15 years ago.

[19:41] <Crewman Patricia Martin> I'm reading an increase in power usage. The remote sensors are going through a lot of energy. I'd say we're using up power now at the same rate as if we DIDN'T have the power efficiency module installed.
[19:44] <Officer Kagami Hiiragi> Good thing we replaced all of the FtOs power cells with ion crystal cells. That should still give us a major boost. Any other problems detected?
[19:45] * Crewman Patricia Martin runs an automated diagnostic while she checks over several different pieces of machinery. Tsukasa does the same on her end.

[19:47] *** Meanwhile, the Tiny Sub Tim slowly cruises past the submarine, close enough for Catriona and Sylvester to look at the newly attached modules fairly closely.

[19:48] *** One of the Ghost Leviathans shrieks like a banshee of Celtic legend as its body is riddled with gauss shards, perforating its semi-transparent form with hole after hole after hole.

[20:19] * Chibi-AnTil sees a stronger force field a short distance ahead, completely covering a large archway. Beside the archway is another key-altar.
[20:19] * Chibi-AnTil sees that the symbols on the altar are BLUE in color!
[20:21] <Chibi-AnTil> ♦ We were right! That blue key-plate we found WAS to this place! I'm opening it up now.
[20:21] * Chibi-AnTil gets out of Mr Fister. In his carryall pack he has the Blue Key-plate.
[20:23] * Monica [Underwater] takes a quick moment to see if AnTil was followed. She takes this time, as well, to try cutting through some hopefully vital parts of the Alliance crafts.
[20:25] *** Those submarines are built tough, but then again they ARE Van Saar in origin. While your claws don't do much against the hull, Monica, the noise you're making IS freaking out some of Leona's girl-cronies inside.
[20:29] * Chibi-AnTil places the key-plate inside.
[20:29] * Monica [Underwater] decides that if slashing won't work too well, then how about impact and puncture? Retracting the claws on one paw, she takes to trying to bash in certain areas of the hull and pierce through other parts. Let's see how badly that rattles 'em! Also are the Warpers still firing at her?
[20:30] *** What section of the hull are you specifically attacking, Monica? Or would you like to roll for Knowledge on this one?
[20:32] *** The force field fades as it responds to the key-plate. The way into the Primary Containment Facility is now OPEN!!!
[20:33] * Monica [Underwater] is attacking at various spots to give the Alliance people inside one hell of a headache! First she's here, then she's there! When she's upstairs, she's downstairs. When she's in the front..... she's in the back!

[20:59] *** Meanwhile, a Helghast in underwater gear is now in the hangar bay of Leona's sub and attempting to drag the body of the dead gunner out of the turret.
[21:01] * Monica [Underwater] decides to take this moment to drag the Helghast out and cut him to bits!
[21:01] *** One of the Sea Dragons lets out a massive roar that dies off into something that sounds more like an ungodly FART as it shrieks its last and sinks down, slain by numerous gauss shards to its mouth and head.

[21:02] *** The helghast responds surprisingly fast and STABS at Monica with a trench knife.
[21:04] * Monica [Underwater] goes to tilt to one side, then respond in kind with her (now Carar-stained) claws, sharpened with well over 5000 years of training!
[21:07] *** The Helghast wrestles with Monica. For a mere mortal, this Helghast fights with reflexes and speed that only comes from decades of training and experience. But...roll 1d20 please.

[21:10] *** ...Oh crap. You also catch sight of what looks like an injector harness connected to the Helghast's arms, legs, and neck. His reflexes are VASTLY superior to what a normal Human should be capable of.
[21:11] *** And while you were with Kagami, Miyuki, and the others, you got to hear lots about Leona Morimoto, her twisted interest in pharmaceuticals, and her work on the original Ashigaru during the Zealot Wars.
[21:11] *** The Helghast are all using advanced combat drugs.
[21:12] * Monica [Underwater] decides to stop holding back, and unleash the powers she obtained during her long stays in the Carnage Dimension! No amount of steroids would help against this!!
[21:13] * Chibi-AnTil meanwhile starts to march Mr Fister up a wide passage that slopes upwards. Alien light fixtures start to glow as everyone passes by them and rush further inwards to the facility.
[21:15] *** Finally, you all reach the top of the ramp and walk into a massive chamber.

[21:34] * Fiona walks up between them and comes to a halt. She then concentrates for a minute, claps her hands together hard, and drops down to one knee, slapping her right hand down onto the floor.
[21:36] *** A wide beam of energy radiates out from Fiona's hand, forming circuit patterns on the ground in brightly glowing lines as she begins utilizing her Transmutation magic. Over the course of the next two minutes a four-foot hide Aegis Defensive Barrier begins to slowly grow out of the floor, stretching all the way across the passageway.
