[07:21] *** What's really noticeable are the huge patches of greenery covering their tops. Gardens were built, and it looks like they're growing all kinds of edible plants.
[07:23] *** Down below, there are large crowds of Desert Kits gathering. All of them look tired and thirsty. Meanwhile, the are dozens of T-Dolls moving with purpose, readying dune buggies and preparing the cab of a rebuilt 18-wheeler.

[07:28] * Sopporosa climbs into the cab and attaches the steering wheel into its socket, then starts activating the controls, pushing a bunch of different buttons in various ways.
[07:30] *** Outside, a large, creaking platform is being lowered. Upon it is a high-capacity liquid container for the 18-wheeler. It's also been heavily modified to include scaffolding, battlements, and small partially-enclosed parapets.
[07:37] * ~ Meanwhile, in a different part of the Citadel, inside a large chamber carved into the rock, several people have gathered around...HEY! It's RO-635!

[07:38] * RO-635 is stripped down to nothing and is having chalky white powder blown onto her body.
[07:39] *** Atago and Takao are nearby, and Takao looks VERY pregnant.

[07:56] *** Outside, the crowds of Desert Kits start yapping and howling as they gather at the base of one of the buttes, peering up at the hole in the side.

[08:09] * The Desert Kits all start to creep closer to where three large pipes are sticking out of the side of the butte.

[08:10] *** Water starts to cascade out of the piles in vast quantities, immediately turning into a waterfall.
[08:11] * The Desert Kits squeal in delight as they SWARM towards the water, diving into it and lapping it up eagerly.
[08:12] * Immortan RO lets the waterfall persist for a minute or so, then shuts down the flow.
[08:12] * The Desert Kit howl in dismay. They need more!!
[08:14] <Immortan RO> - DO NOT, MY FRIENDS, BECOME ADDICTED TO WATER. IT WILL TAKE HOLD OF YOU, AND YOU WILL RESENT ITS ABSENCE. -
[08:14] * The Desert Kits start squabbling and fighting with each other, trying to get at the remaining water before it evaporates.
[08:15] *** The platform starts to rise, and the Desert Kits start to swarm towards it.
[08:16] * Sopporosa puts her 18-wheeler into gear and the convoy takes off.
[08:18] <Atago> Signal Gastown. The convoy's on its way.
[08:20] *** The scene switches to the convoy on the road. Sopporosa stares ahead grimly as her small group of escorts (two dune buggies and a couple of motorcycles) take up position.
[08:21] *** The road (such as it is) is a straight shot towards something on the horizon. It looks like another fortified town, but it's surrounded by a thick haze of smoke.
[08:22] * Sopporosa just keeps driving straight.
[08:23] *** Scene switch! Back to the warrens of the Citadel.
[08:23] * M4A1 is sitting inside a cage dangling from the ceiling.
[08:25] *** She's tied up for the most part, and looks thoroughly miserable.

[08:26] *** The bottom of M4A1's cage flips down, dropping her out. The shackles on her legs prevent her from falling to the ground and leave her dangling in midair.

[07:14] * Immortan RO suddenly stiffens, then turns and RUNS out of the room.

[07:16] * Atago lets Takao get at the periscope, then turns and chases after Immortan RO.
[07:17] * Immortan RO hurries down the hallways, passing into a large room filled with lush plants being continuously bathed in a mist of water. On the far side of the chamber, she pushes through sheets of clear plastic to reach what looks like the door of a bank vault.
[07:18] * Immortan RO quickly opens the door, barely waiting for the door to swing open all the way before rushing inside.
[07:20] *** Beyond the door is a short circular tunnel leading into a well-appointed room. It's quite clean compared to everything else, and there's lots of books, some exercise equipment, and so on. There are windows high up on the walls, but they're all barred.
[07:22] * Immortan RO looks down at the small pool in the middle of the room. Painted onto the floor are the words "OUR CHILDREN WON'T BE WARLORDS"

[07:43] * Sopporosa hears something behind her and looks to see a floor hatch opening. The cloaked figure pulls HIMSELF in.
[07:43] *** It's a slender boy with lush coppery hair who barely looks like he's 13 years old.

[07:47] *** Meanwhile, the Wardolls are STILL fighting the Scav Wolf truck as the steam-shovel extends and comes down on part of the War Rig's battlements, hooking onto some of the plating.
[07:48] <Executioner> HYDRAULICS! GO FOR THE HYDRAULICS!!!
[07:48] * VP-70 and FNP-9 keep throwing explosive spears at the base of the steam shovel.
[07:49] * AR-70 leaps ONTO the steam shovel's arm and starts hacking wildly at whatever cables and lines she can find with a rigging knife.
[07:50] * UMP-9 performs a bootlegger turn, spins around 180, and goes into full reverse at maximum speed.
[07:51] * UMP-45 lines up for another throw and hurls a spear directly into the base of the buzzsaw blade.
[07:51] *** The explosion severs something vital and the buzzsaw arm IMMEDIATELY falls limp and breaks off.
[07:52] * UMP-45 ducks as the falling blade slices clean through the spear she was preparing to throw!!
[07:53] *** The severed head of the spear hits the ground, rolls underneath the truck...AND DETONATES.
[07:55] *** The Scav Wolf truck is knocked upwards almost a foot by the blast, then comes down with a CRUNCH loud enough to be heard over all the engines. It then rocks back and forth on its now-wrecked suspension, then starts to turn sharply. A moment later it flips over and wrecks out spectacularly!
[07:56] *** Unfortunately, the steam-shovel head was still attached to the War Rig and rips out a large section of the armor. And AR-70 is flung off with it!!

[08:25] *** Further ahead, the War Rig speeds directly into the oncoming storm, the forward edge of the storm hitting the 18-wheeler like a physical force.
[08:26] * VP-70 and FNP-9 are practically SCRAPED off the scaffolding by the winds and hurled into the storm!!

[08:32] *** Suddenly, M4A1's boot comes off and UMP-45 goes flying.

[08:33] * UMP-9 starts closing and locking all of her windows and hatches, slamming the roof-hatch shut JUST as M4A1 tries to get at it.

[08:34] * M4A1 ducks down in the back and hangs on for dear life as the wind hits them all with the force of a sand-blaster!
[08:35] *** Inside the storm, it's a nightmarish maelstrom of high winds, harsh abrasive particles, and actinic lightning flashes that serve only to make the interior even more disorienting.
[08:36] * UMP-9 glances through the rear window at M4A1, then turns back to the front and drives on resolutely.
[08:36] *** A flash shows the War Rig off to the right.
[08:37] * UMP-9 turns towards it.
[08:38] *** Ahead, the War Rig is still going through the heart of the storm. The storm roars like a living thing, and actual tornadoes are forming, lit up from within by strange flashes of otherworldly light.
[08:39] *** The Starter Squad Snoop-Deville is STILL in pursuit!! In fact, they're alongside Sopporosa and trying to perform a PIT Maneuver on her!!
[08:39] <Z-23> YOU'VE GOT THIS, LAFFEY! DO IT!

[08:40] * Laffey RAMS the War Rig, actually managing to push it to the side a little.

[08:42] *** The Starter Squad Snoop-Deville is picked up by the tornado and begins to swirl and spin around almost gracefully, picking up speed and sending EVERYONE inside tumbling and ragdolling into the air with it.
[08:44] *** Z-23, Javelin, Ayanami, Unicorn, and Laffey are all highlighted by the flashing lightning AND by the vehicle itself as it begins to explode in a spectacular pyrotechnic display.
[08:44] * UMP-9 watches in pure ecstasy as the Starter Squad is consumed by the storm, vanishing entirely.

[08:49] <UMP-9> WHO GRABS THE SUN!

[08:56] * UMP-9 already stomped on the brakes, attempting to make the War Rig crash into her right as she detonated into a firebomb. EXCEPT...NO KABOOM THANKS TO M4A1!!!!
[08:57] * Sopporosa SMASHES into UMP-9 and M4A1, their much-smaller vehicle being smacked aside by the ram-prow on the front.
[08:58] *** The dune buggy crashes and rolls over several times, with M4A1 tumbling along beside it.
[08:59] *** The War Rig disappears into the storm, and the camera focuses on the lit flare as it hits the ground, still burning, but the storm and sand close around it. Finally, it dies out.

[07:09] * M4A1 (muzzled) follows the chain over to what remains of the dune buggy. Yanking on it, UMP-9s arm is pulled up.

[07:10] * M4A1 (muzzled) pulls UMP-9 out of the wreck and starts trying to unlock herself from the shackle, but it's locked tight.

[07:12] *** Misfire. There's a puff of smoke when the firing pin strikes, but the shell's powder fails to ignite at all.

[07:13] * M4A1 (muzzled) starts to look around, then notices something not too far in the distance.
[07:14] *** The War Rig! It's only a few hundred yards away! Sopporosa must have hit the brakes immediately after the crash and waited out the storm!
[07:16] * M4A1 (muzzled) reluctantly picks up UMP-9 and starts carrying her over her shoulder, taking the car door with her because she can't maneuver UMP-9's body through the window on her own.
[07:27] *** The scene switches. Sopporosa is outside the War Rig. She's detached her left arm (remember, it's the one that she took off of a Sangvis Ferri Doll when the original got blown off) and is bashing it against the side of the truck to get the dirt out.

[07:33] * Sopporosa is also using her detached arm to knock the dust out of the engine intakes.
[07:34] * M4A1 (muzzled) comes out from behind the War Rig and starts to approach, then stops when she notices something.
[07:37] *** Sopporosa isn't alone! There are THREE young boys with her. The three boys, who all look to be barely in their teens, look to be closely related. They're ALL foxboys, with fluffy tails and perky ears!

[07:40] *** Everyone hears the noise and look over to see M4A1 aiming the shotgun at them.
[07:41] * Chibi-Solar just Looks back at her.

[07:42] * Chibi-AnTil slowly approaches with the hose.
[07:43] * M4A1 (muzzled) takes the hose and starts spraying herself in the face and mouth. At no point does she stop aiming the shotgun at anyone.

[07:45] * M4A1 (muzzled) finishes drinking, drops the hose, and grabs the chain attached to her neck and holds it out for everyone to see.

[07:46] * Chibi-Solar slowly approaches with the bolt-cutters.
[07:47] * Chibi-Solar starts trying to cut the chains, but notices something over M4A1's shoulder...
[07:48] *** It's Immortan RO's war fleet in the distance! Visibility has continued to clear since the storm died, and it's now clear enough for direct line-of-sight. Which means it's only a matter of time before THEY'RE spotted!
[07:49] * M4A1 (muzzled) is suddenly knocked backwards by a flying tackle from Sopporosa!!!

[07:51] *** CLICK. The first shell UMP-9 already fired. The second shell was the dud.

[07:52] * Sopporosa smacks M4A1 across the face with the shotgun, but the metal grill muzzle she's wearing deflects the worst of it!

[07:52] * M4A1 (muzzled) grabs Sopporosa by the neck and starts wrestling with her, rolling over on top of her.
[07:53] *** All three foxboys rush over, grab onto the chain, and start pulling M4A1 off of Sopporosa!
[07:53] * Chibi-AnTil tosses the bolt-cutters to Sopporosa.
[07:54] * Sopporosa starts swinging at M4A1 with them, knocking the shotgun out of her hands and sending her dodging backwards.
[07:55] * M4A1 (muzzled) grabs the car door and starts using it like a shield against Sopporosa's relentless blows.
[07:56] *** bashes Sopporosa with the door and forces her to stagger back.

[07:57] * UMP-9 wakes up.

[07:58] * Sopporosa starts running towards the War Rig, but gets tripped by the chain when UMP-9 yanks it up into her leg.

[07:59] * Sopporosa punches a spot on the side of the trailer where there's a skull-and-gearcog icon mounted.
[07:59] *** The skull breaks apart. THERE'S A GLOCK-17 PISTOL CONCEALED THERE!
[08:00] * UMP-9 grabs Sopporosa's legs and tries to drag her back.
[08:00] * M4A1 (muzzled) rushes forward to go for the gun!
[08:01] * Sopporosa elbows UMP-9 in the head and knocks her to the ground.

[08:02] * M4A1 (muzzled) grabs the gun.
[08:02] * Sopporosa grabs M4A1's hand that's holding the gun!
[08:03] * M4A1 (muzzled) ejects the magazine as Sopporosa twists the pistol in her hand, sending it flying over towards UMP-9.
[08:04] * M4A1 (muzzled) twists her head to the side JUST IN TIME to avoid the shot as Sopporosa twists the pistol towards M4A1's head.
[08:04] * UMP-9 grabs the magazine off the ground and tries to charge in, but the foxboys dive on her and start trying to drag her back.
[08:06] * M4A1 (muzzled) and Sopporosa fall to the ground and continue wrestling there. Sopporosa grabs the water hose and starts SMACKING M4A1 repeatedly across the face with it, but that muzzle grill is STILL providing M4A1 with an inordinately effective amount of protection.
[08:07] * UMP-9 realizes she's got THREE cute foxboys grabbing her and clambering all over her.

[08:07] *** Snap out of it, UMP-9
[08:08] * UMP-9 leaps forward and lands HARD next to M4A1, holding the magazine out and up.
[08:09] * M4A1 (muzzled) SLAMS the Glock down on the magazine, snapping it in place, then quickly charges the round!

[08:09] * M4A1 (muzzled) fired three rounds next to Sopporosa's head.

[08:09] * Sopporosa stops struggling.
[08:11] *** In the distance, they all start to hear wild electric guitar music playing discordantly. SOMEONE'S SPOTTED THE WAR RIG AND MEGUMIN'S WORKING EVERYONE UP!
[08:12] <UMP-9> Glory me, Blood-bag! We snagged her alive!
[08:12] <UMP-9> He's gonna shred her!
[08:13] * UMP-9 leans in close to Sopporosa. "SHRED HER!!!"

[08:13] * UMP-9 gets the bolt cutters and cuts M4A1 free.
[08:14] * UMP-9 looks back at the pursuit fleet. "Look at them! All shiny and chrome!"

[08:19] * M4A1 (muzzled) storms past him, gets into the War Rig, and starts to drive away. Yes, she's LEAVING THEM ALL BEHIND.
[08:20] * Sopporosa approaches Chibi-Sylvester.
[08:20] <Sopporosa> Are you all right?
[08:20] <Chibi-Sylvester> It hurts a little.
[08:20] * Chibi-Sylvester got cut on his arm during the fight.
[08:21] <Sopporosa> Out here everything hurts. If you want to get through this, keep doing what I say.
[08:21] <Sopporosa> Now pick up everything you can and run.
[08:23] *** The War Rig grinds to a halt as the engine cuts out.

[08:24] <Sopporosa> Kill-switches. I set the sequence myself.
[08:24] <Sopporosa> This rig goes nowhere without me.

[08:25] *** Everyone looks back. Immortan RO's fleet is now kicking up dust. They're on the move now and only a mile or so away.

[08:30] *** The Foxboys quickly get inside.

[08:31] * The Cheesykits Projector comes to a halt. "PAUSE HERE FOR NOW!"
[07:14] * The Cheesykits Projector starts to warm up
[07:26] *** The movie picks up where it left off.
[07:26] * Sopporosa sits down in the driver's seat and carefully hands M4A1 a file from a nearby toolkit.
[07:27] * M4A1 takes the file and immediately gets to work on the lock of her muzzle.
[07:28] * Sopporosa reaches under the steering block for something...
[07:28] <M4A1> STOP!
[07:29] * M4A1 grabs the pistol that was hidden underneath, then starts searching around the rest of the cabin. She quickly finds the several OTHER guns that Sopporosa had hidden around, including a sawed-off shotgun and what looks like a blunderbuss pistol.

[07:30] * Sopporosa starts flicking and pressing a series of switches to disengage the engine kill-switch.
[07:30] * Sopporosa starts driving!
[07:31] * Chibi-Sylvester winces a little as Chibi-Solar bandages his leg.
[07:31] <Sopporosa> Of all the legs you had to hurt, you hurt the one attached to Takao's favorite.
[07:32] <M4A1> Huh?
[07:32] <Sopporosa> Takao and Atago are Immortan ROs daughters. Takao is pregnant, if you didn't already know.
[07:33] <Sopporosa> So they're all ESPECIALLY protective of little Sylvester there.
[07:34] *** Meanwhile, UMP-9 is sprinting like mad to catch up to the War Rig. She manages to grab onto the fuel car and pulls herself onboard.
[07:36] * M4A1 ignores Sopporosa and keeps collecting all of the guns, putting them into a bag she snatches from Chibi-AnTil.
[07:36] <Chibi-AnTil> Is she going to hurt us?
[07:36] <Chibi-Solar> No, she needs us to bargain with.
[07:37] <Chibi-Sylvester> Is she coming with us to the Wet Place Sopporosa talks about?
[07:40] * Sopporosa keeps driving, heading towards a long expanse of cliffs rising up out of the desert ahead of them.
[07:40] * Sopporosa is aiming towards a canyon winding through it all.
[07:40] <M4A1> No. Stay out of there.
[07:45] * Sopporosa points out the passenger-side window. "Behind you."
[07:49] *** All three of the foxboys are now staring out the side window, with Chibi-AnTil and Chibi-Sylvester picking up binoculars to look.
[07:49] <Chibi-AnTil> It's the Gastown Girls.
[07:50] <Sopporosa> What do you see?
[07:51] *** Through the binoculars, multiple new vehicles are approaching fast. A bunch of them have long, flexible booms mounted in the back, designed for someone to be strapped in and grab down from above.
[07:51] <Chibi-AnTil> I see Polecats, Big Rigs...
[07:53] * Chibi-AnTil sees an absolutely UNMISTAKEABLE girl seated in the most lavish vehicle of all...




[07:53] <Chibi-AnTil> And there's the Shota-Eater herself. Here to count the cost.
[07:54] *** Suddenly, the War Rig starts shuddering, slowing down noticeably.
[07:55] <Sopporosa> We're dragging something behind us!
[07:55] <Sopporosa> It must be the fuel pod!
[07:55] * Sopporosa starts to get out.
[07:55] <M4A1> NO! No you don't. I'll go.
[07:56] * M4A1 climbs out of the cabin, taking the Bag-O-Guns with her, and climbs up onto the scaffolding to the top of the trailer rig.
[07:58] * Sopporosa watches her go, then looks at the gear-shift lever. The handle turns out to be a concealed KNIFE that M4A1 missed.
[07:58] * Sopporosa leaves it for now.
[07:58] * M4A1 hurries across the top of the trailer to the fuel pod at the back and climbs down onto it.
[07:59] *** The hydraulic line that's supposed to be plugged into the truck has been deliberately pulled out of its socket, causing the wheels to seize up.
[08:00] *** It wasn't like that several minutes ago. Someone must have deliberately pulled it.
[08:01] * M4A1 plugs it back in. The wheels of the fuel pod unseize almost instantly. The War Rig starts to speed up.
[08:01] * M4A1 does NOT see who's climbing along the underside scaffolding of the cargo trailer though!

[08:02] * M4A1 (muzzled) starts making her way back, still working furiously at the lock of her muzzle.

[08:04] *** Inside the cabin, the floor hatch suddenly bursts open, and the foxboys are knocked backwards as a wild UMP-9 bursts through!!

[08:05] * UMP-9 attacks Sopporosa, trying to wrap chains around her neck from behind!
[08:05] * The foxboys grab UMP-9 from behind and yank her off!

[08:12] * M4A1 also notices a new group of vehicles approaching fast. "We've got more company."
[08:13] *** A new group of vehicles is fast approaching, led by what looks like a pimped-out BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle carrying THIS GIRL!!!

[08:26] * UMP-9 did manage to grab the bandge off of Chibi-Sylvester's leg though. Holding onto it, she gets up and starts jogging in the direction of Immortan RO's pursuing forces
[08:28] *** Meanwhile, the War Rig reaches the mouth of the canyon and starts to drive through. The way that the canyon floor has been flattened suggests that a road ran through here, but the asphalt has been buried beneath drifting sand.
[08:29] <Sopporosa> I made a deal with the Wasteland Kits here. Safe passage. I don't know if it's still any good though.
[08:30] * Sopporosa turns back to the foxboys. "Get back in the hold. Keep the hatch open so you can breathe."
[08:30] * Sopporosa looks over at M4A1. "I need you here."
[08:30] <M4A1> ??
[08:31] <Sopporosa> You may have to drive the Rig if things get bad.
[08:31] * M4A1 points at Chibi-AnTil. "You. You stay there."
[08:32] <Sopporosa> Whatever you do, you can't be seen. I'm supposed to be alone.
[08:32] <Sopporosa> That was the deal.
[08:33] * M4A1 reluctantly gets into the hold with all of the foxboys.
[08:34] *** The War Rig drives further into the canyon. People on motorbikes are observing from a distance, and all of the motorbikes have little baskets on the handlebars where a Wasteland Kit is riding.
[08:34] * Sopporosa looks down at M4A1.
[08:35] <Sopporosa> Hey. What's your name? What do I call you?
[08:35] <M4A1> ...
[08:35] <M4A1> Does it matter?
[08:35] <Sopporosa> Fine. If I shout "FOOL", you need to drive out of here as fast as you can.
[08:37] * Sopporosa shows M4A1 the switches underneath the dashboard. "Once...once...twice...once...red...black. Go. That's the sequence."
[08:38] *** The War Rig approaches a wide area and comes to a halt.
[08:38] * Sopporosa carefully gets out and looks around.
[08:38] <Sopporosa> IT'S ALL HERE!!
[08:39] <Sopporosa> 3000 gallons of guzzoline, just like you asked!
[08:39] *** Liar. The War Rig was loaded with Aqua-cola and Produce, according to Executioner at the beginning. They never even made it to Gastown to unload anything.
[08:40] <Sopporosa> I'M GOING TO UNHITCH THE POD.
[08:41] *** Not sure if that fuel pod in the back contains 3000 gallons, Soppo.
[08:41] * Sopporosa moves toward the back of the War Rig.
[08:42] *** Several dozen riders on motorbikes start to appear on the higher ridges, and Wasteland Kits by the hundreds start to pop up out of nowhere.
[08:42] <Wasteland Kit> You said maybe few vehicles follow you!
[08:43] <Wasteland Kit> We see three war parties!
[08:44] <Sopporosa> Yeah well I got unlucky. >:/

[08:46] *** The first vehicles of one of the pursuing war parties is coming around the bend of the road behind them. THEY CLOSED THE DISTANCE FAST!

[07:12] * Sopporosa dives for cover. Bullets start impacting the ground around her.
[07:12] *** The War Rig's engine revs and it starts to move forward. M4A1 moved fast!
[07:12] <Biker-Raider> THAT'S OUR FUEL!!
[07:14] *** The Biker-Raiders start to ride down the slopes, firing pistols as they go.
[07:14] *** Meanwhile, the vehicles of the Bullet-Farmer are getting closer.
[07:15] <Wasteland Kit> Baddies come! Blow it!
[07:16] *** The camera zooms in on a few Wasteland Kits that are crouching near a cliff overlooking the road. One of them scampers over to a detonator and POUNCES on it!
[07:16] * Sopporosa runs alongside the War Rig and dives underneath the forward part of it, grabbing onto the handlebars alongside the underside hatch into the cabin.
[07:17] *** A BIG explosion rings out as bombs set into the side of the cliff detonate, dropping tons of shattered rock onto the road, blocking the pursuing vehicles. The Bullet-Farmer has been delayed!
[07:19] * Sopporosa is grabbed!!! One of the Biker-Raiders lunged off her bike, dove underneath the trailer, andgrabbed onto her legs!!

[07:26] * Sopporosa kicks MP7 off of her!
[07:27] * MP7 tumbles back and rolls helplessly towards one of the wheels!

[07:31] *** Meanwhile, back at the landslide, the pursuing vehicles have stopped. Some Wardolls are already at work clearing away some of the smaller rocks, and Immortan RO's massive double-decker ATV is already starting to climb over.

[07:44] *** More Biker-Raiders speed up alongside. Several of them accelerate hard and launch off of dirt-ramps, bouncing high into the air and dropping firebombs onto the War Rig.

[07:47] * Sopporosa quickly yanks on a lever. The front prow of the War Rig lowers down, catching up the dirt on the ground and throwing it up over the top of the Rig, smothering the flames.

[07:09] *** The movie picks up right where it left off yesterday, with UMP-9 faceplanting on top of the War Rig, and Immortan RO looking downright embarrassed.
[07:10] * Immortan RO slams on the gas and accelerates, launching her Double-Decker ATV off some rocks and landing hard in front of the War Rig.

[07:20] * M4A1 and Sopporosa move as one, taking aim with their own guns and opening fire before any of them can react.

[07:22] * Atago fires the turret gun, launching a harpoon at the War Rig.
[07:23] * M4A1 yelps as the harpoon hits the dashboard through the steering wheel, jamming it in place.

[07:24] * Atago yanks on the line connected to the harpoon and starts REELING it in!
[07:25] *** A barb of the harpoon catches on the steering wheel, popping it loose and catching on the edge of the doorframe, pinning it against M4A1's hand!!

[07:26] * Chibi-Solar quickly lunges forward with the bolt-cutters! He leans out the window, leans forward as far as he can, and starts clamping down on the cable.
[07:28] * Chibi-Solar cuts the harpoon line, but the steering wheel goes soaring out the window!!
[07:29] * Sopporosa quickly clamps a monkey-wrench onto the plug where the steering wheel used to be, but it's hardly enough to turn the War Rig in any meaningful way.
[07:30] *** A large pile of rocks is dead ahead!
[07:31] <Immortan RO> - SOLARCHOS!!!!! LOOK OUT!!!!!!!! -
[07:31] * Immortan RO points ahead at the rocks.
[07:32] * Chibi-Solar looks up to see the rocks, which are easily high enough to scrape the side of the doors!
[07:33] *** The War Rig clips the side of the rocks, causing some of them to pulverize explosively.
[07:34] * Chibi-Solar managed to duck around to the back of the War Rig, but is bleeding from several new cuts on his arms and side.
[07:34] * Chibi-Solar starts moving back inside and grabs onto the door.
[07:35] *** The door's hinges give way! It's about to fall off!!

[07:35] * Chibi-AnTil and Chibi-Sylvester immediately reach out to him!

[07:40] *** Everyone watches in dismay and horror as Immortan RO wipes out. Chibi-Solar is completely lost in the dust that's kicked up, but they can just make out pieces exploding everywhere and at least a few bodies being flung like ragdolls.

Yet, there's just something weirdly alluring about seeing her like that...and firing a machine gun like an unhinged Outback Aussie.
[07:47] <Atago> ♦ BAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSS-TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARDS~!!!!!!
[07:48] * Immortan RO HOWLS in despair and rage as she holds both Takao's and Chibi-Solar's limp bodies in her arms.
[07:49] *** Maya has left #suburbansenshi3 (*eliminated on impact and currently slowly sliding down the side of a rock.*)
[07:51] *** A motorcycle pulls up, carrying Negev and Micro-Uzi.

[07:53] *** Meanwhile, miles ahead, the War Rig continues to drive straight into rolling desert that seem to stretch in all directions. Finally, with steam billowing out of its engines, it coasts to a halt.
[07:54] * M4A1 and Sopporosa immediately get to work pouring water into the radiator. The War Rig's overheated big-time.
[07:55] * Chibi-AnTil can be seen running back in the direction they came from.

[07:24] *** Inside, the mood is morose. Chibi-AnTil and Chibi-Sylvester are distraught, Sopporosa looks sad as well, and M4A1 just stares ahead grimly as she drives.

[07:25] <Sopporosa> It's a hard night's drive, due east.
[07:25] <M4A1> But what is it?
[07:27] <Sopporosa> It's where their father came from.
[07:27] * Sopporosa motions to the Foxboys.

[07:27] <Sopporosa> The one who fell out back there. The one Immortan RO crashed trying to avoid rolling over.

[07:42] * Sopporosa takes the Bag-O-Guns and drops it in front of Chibi-Sylvester and Chibi-AnTil. "Inventory. We need to match bullets with the guns we have."

[07:43] * Chibi-AnTil takes the bag and starts rummaging through it.
[07:43] <Sopporosa> I need to go do some repairs.

[07:46] * Chibi-Sylvester clambers out one of the side doors and climbs up onto the scaffolding, making his way towards the turret at the back of the War Rig.
[07:47] * Sopporosa climbs out and down, attaching a clip-harness onto part of the structure as she begins inspecting the undercarriage of the War Rig.
[07:54] * Chibi-Sylvester reaches the back turret and kneels on the floor, staring out the narrow slit of a window at the vast expanse of desert behind them all.
[07:54] * Chibi-Sylvester suddenly hears...sobbing?
[07:56] * UMP-9 is curled up on the ground, tucked in behind some of the scaffolding.

[08:08] *** The sun sets, and night falls, with the full moon painting the desert and everything in it with a weird blue light.
[08:09] * M4A1 frowns as she feels the Rig start driving over a different kind of terrain. The ground's no longer hard-packed, hard-baked wasteland.
[08:10] *** The War Rig starts to fishtail slightly. The tires are losing traction.
[08:10] * M4A1 slows to a stop.
[08:11] *** The ground is sodden with moisture, and the War Rig's tires sink a few inches into actual mud. THIS AREA ISN'T DESERT.
[08:13] *** Meanwhile, the pursuit force has still NO given up. Their headlights are visible on the horizon, and Megumin's feverish jamming can easily be heard. She's enjoying the role of the Doof-Warrior a little TOO MUCH.
[08:15] * Sopporosa ,M4A1, and the Foxboys quickly get to work, dropping the spare tires, spreading out large chunks of debris behind them, and planting limpet mines in the furrows the War Rig is leaving in its own wake.
[08:17] * Sopporosa takes over driving and pushes on, grinning at the thought of the little trap they've all left behind for Immortan RO.

[08:00] *** Meanwhile, HK-416's IFV is speeding across the quagmire at a steady pace, the treads dealing with the sand effectively. They're traveling at a decent 25-30 miles per hour.

[08:01] * HK-416 moves the spotlight back and forth, searching for the tracks of the Rig
[08:01] * HK-416 pulls out a pair of pistols and fires shots occasionally into the gloom ahead.

[08:04] *** The scene switches back to the War Rig. M4A1 and Chibi-AnTil are placing the metal plates again while Sopporosa walks towards the back, holding her sniper rifle.
[08:05] * Sopporosa peers cautiously into the gloom. Fog has descended upon the area and visibility isn't good, but she can see the faint glow of a spotlight in the distance.
[08:05] *** The War Rig drives forward. As it moves past, Sopporosa sees...M4A1 standing next to Chibi-AnTil???!!! WHO'S DRIVING?!?!?!?!?!?!?
[08:06] * Sopporosa and M4A1 SPRINT towards the main cab!!!!
[08:07] * Chibi-Sylvester is leaning out the doorway. He's NOT the one driving, either! "SHE WANTS TO HELP!"

[08:15] * Sopporosa moves in behind M4A1 and sets the barrel of the rifle against M4A1's shoulder to steady it, then carefully takes aim through the scope.

[08:16] * HK-416 SCREAMS as the spotlight directly in front of her EXPLODES, sending fragments straight into her face!
[08:16] *** The BMP-3 skids to a halt.
[08:16] *** The light disappears and the shooting stops.
[08:17] * UMP-9 jumps out of the cab and starts hurrying to the front of the Rig.

[08:18] <UMP-9> The winch at the front! I'm going to set the line around the tree and use that to help pull us forward!

[08:19] *** Meanwhile, back with the BMP, HK-416 is NOT having a good time.
[08:20] * HK-416 is feeling her face and staring straight ahead while SL-8 is holding up an ignited flare.

[08:25] *** The BMP starts to move again, and oh god, THIS MUSIC starts to play as HK-416 stands up, holding two submachine guns in her hands, her arms stretched out grandiosely!!

[08:26] <HK-416> ♦ CONDUCTOR OF THE CHOIR OF DEATH!!!!
[08:26] * HK-416 starts shooting blindly ahead of her.

[08:29] *** The tree is pulled nearly out of the ground, its roots barely managing to hold on, but the War Rig finally pulls free of the mire.
[08:30] * M4A1 quickly unhitches the tow-line and runs alongside the War Rig as it drives past her. They all soon make it to the higher ground UMP-9 mentioned, which turns out to be a raised causeway rising above the swampy ground.
[08:31] *** With solid ground beneath its treads, the War Rig can drive freely.
[08:31] *** But thick clouds of steam are bellowing from its engines again.
[08:32] <UMP-9> I never thought I'd do something as shine as that! :D
[08:32] <Sopporosa> How are the engines?
[08:33] <UMP-9> Very hot and very thirsty.
[08:33] * M4A1 grabs some mines and a fuel cannister, then starts heading back the way they came. HK-416 is STILL shooting wildly.
[08:34] <M4A1> Hey, you need to take the War Rig half a mile down the track.
[08:34] <Sopporosa> What if you're not back by the time the engines have cooled?
[08:35] <M4A1> ...well, you keep moving.
[08:35] * M4A1 jogs away into the gloom.
[08:35] *** Everyone watches in silent astonishment as M4A1 vanishes.
[08:35] <Chibi-AnTil> What do you suppose she's going to do?
[08:36] <Sopporosa> Retaliate first.

[08:36] *** The Cheesykits logo appears! "PAUSE HERE FOR NOW!"

[07:33] * HK-416 's BMP drives past the downed tree, heading directly towards the start of the causeway. She's STILL shooting! How many thousands of rounds of ammunition does she HAVE on that thing?!
[07:34] * UMP-9 jogs ahead of the War Rig, keeping an eye out for debris and obstructions on the ground while Sopporosa keeps a close watch on her dashboard indicators. The War Rig's engines are still steaming badly, but they can't stop just yet.
[07:36] *** Finally, they stop. Chibi-Sylvester and UMP-9 get water and start pouring it into the radiator intakes and onto the exposed supercharger manifold to cool it all down.
[07:36] * Chibi-AnTil and Sopporosa keep watch.
[07:36] *** Suddenly, there's an explosion in the distance. HK-416's shooting abruptly ends.
[07:37] *** Strange bird cries fill the air as they react to the noise of the boom.
[07:38] * M4A1 emerges from the gloom, carrying a steering wheel in one hand, a large bag in the other, and a belt of rifle bullets over her shoulder.

[07:53] *** As they drive, they get to see more of the place they're in. The swamp feels unnatural and otherworldly. Fog continues to linger, fed by the groundwater, and sickly and dead trees are everywhere. Pudgy little birds cluster on the skeletal branches, hooting and cawing, and strange, silent figures wrapped in clothing and moving through the water on stilts tied to their hands and feet look like alien insects.
[07:54] *** They pause to stare silently at the War Rig as it passes.
[07:57] *** The scene switches. It's morning now, and M4A1 wakes up from a particularly freaky nightmare involving angry foxes biting her all over, furious screaming, and an Australian man on a motorcycle flying face-first into the front of an oncoming 18-wheeler at high speed.

[07:58] * Sopporosa is driving. "It's okay. Rest some more."
[08:00] <M4A1> The Wet Place. You're certain your dead friend was telling the truth?

[08:09] *** It's a power line tower. No lines are attached to it anymore, and a couple of its upper spars are twisted, but the tower itself still stands tall. And there appear to be sheets of cloth tied to it, fluttering in the wind.

[08:16] * Sopporosa drives the War Rig towards it. Whatever it is, it signifies a landmark to someone.

[08:13] *** A single blast from a horn rings out! From behind nearby dunes, the sounds of engines revving suddenly start!
[08:14] * Zuikaku starts to rapidly climb down from the tower as almost a dozen motorcycles suddenly ride over the crests of the dunes and ride down into the area.
[08:15] * M4A1 , Sopporosa, and UMP-9 watch as the riders converge on them from all sides. They're ALL armed, but don't seem hostile.
[08:18] * Zuikaku drops down to the ground and quickly pulls on some robes.
[08:18] * Chibi-Sylvester and Chibi-AnTil stay still as the motorcycles close in and stop.
[08:20] *** Holy crap! It's Chiyoda, Mushashi, Shinano, Kaga, Akagi, Kii, Chitose, Nagato, and Shoukaku! With the exception of Zuikaku and Shoukaku, it's the FLEET OF FLOOF!!!!!!
[08:25] *** Wait a sec...AKAGI is here?! The creepy-laughing yandere foxgirl?!?!?!?!
[08:30] * Zuikaku runs over to the boys and hugs them both.
[08:30] <Kaga> There's something in their eyes.

[08:37] *** The foxgirls surround the boys and start to inspect them, poking them both with their tails.

[08:39] * Shoukaku motions to Sopporosa, UMP-9, and M4A1. "I'm not sure I entirely trust those three. They look so ragged."
[08:40] <Sopporosa> You're the Many-Tailed Mothers that Solarchos talked about so many times?
[08:40] <Sopporosa> Are we close to the Wet Place? :D
[08:40] *** The Foxgirls all become quiet.
[08:41] <Kii> But...you came from the west. You must have seen what's become of it.
[08:42] <UMP-9> That swampy, creepy place? With all the weird birds?
[08:42] <Zuikaku> The soil changed.
[08:42] <Chitose> We had to leave.
[08:43] <Kaga> The water became contaminated. Filthy.
[08:43] <Mushashi> Sour. Poisoned.
[08:44] <Akagi> Nothing would grow anymore.
[08:46] <Shoukaku> We had to leave. Leave and scatter. We lost contact with the others.
[08:46] *** Chibi-AnTil and Sylvester look heartbroken.

[08:46] <Sopporosa> So there's nothing left?!
[08:47] <Zuikaku> No. Not really. I'm so sorry.
[08:48] *** They all watch as Chibi-AnTil and Chibi-Sylvester wander away from the group, then stop.
[08:50] * Chibi-AnTil howls in frustration and loss. Chibi-Sylvester falls to his knees and starts punching the sand in rage. Father fought so hard to get them out, kept them both going with stories of this place and its people, and died trying to give them a chance to escape, and now....
[08:52] * Akagi and Kaga go over to them both and drape their tails over them.

[08:54] <UMP-9> D:
[08:55] *** The scene fades to black, and the movie Pauses once again!
[07:08] *** The Cheesykits logo appears! "STAND BY FOR ACTION!"
[07:21] * The Cheesykits Projector starts to warm up!
[07:27] *** The scene picks up with everyone lounging together in a group under the desert night sky. The sheer number of stars in the sky is nothing short of amazing, and the lack of any light pollution reveals astral splendor unknown to any urban dweller. You can literally see the expanse of the galaxy, and even a lone satellite arcing across the sky.
[07:30] * Chibi-AnTil and Chibi-Sylvester have calmed down, and are currently still wrapped up within Kaga's and Akagi's tails.
[07:30] * Chibi-Sylvester points up at the satellite. "What is that?"
[07:32] <Shoukaku> That is a satellite. A machine high in the sky.
[07:33] <Chibi-AnTil> We're heard about them. They relayed messages to everyone in the BeforeTime so that they could talk to each other from all over.
[07:33] <Zuikaku> More than just talk. Music and movies too. And shows. So many shows.
[07:36] * Chibi-Sylvester notices Nagato carefully inspecting things inside a large leather bag she has. "What is that you have?"
[07:36] <Nagato> Would you like to see? ^___^
[07:37] * Chibi-Sylvester leaves Kaga's tails and goes over. He's almost immediately joined by UMP-9
[07:37] * Chibi-AnTil tries to get up to go over as well, but Akagi's tails cling tighter to him and refuse to let him leave.

[07:45] * Chibi-Sylvester and UMP-9 see that the bag is filled with glass bottles and packages of seeds.
[07:46] <UMP-9> Seeds! Like back at the Citadel for growing things!
[07:46] <Nagato> These are real. Heirlooms. Legacy strains.
[07:48] <Nagato> We've tried to plant some everywhere we go when the soil seems wet enough. They don't often take. The earth's still too sour.
[07:48] <Chibi-Sylvester> So many different kinds...
[07:50] * Nagato nods. "Trees, flowers, medicinal, fruit. Enough for everyone. Enough to start making the desert green again. IF we could ever find a place with enough water to sustain it all."
[07:50] * Nagato perks her ears up as she hears something.

[07:52] <Nagato> And I wanted to get you away from Akagi to see this.
[07:53] * Nagato point out at the nearby hill, indicating the numerous small holes dug into the side of it.
[07:57] *** Something emerges from one of the holes...

[07:57] *** More desert foxes emerge and start to trot over.
[07:58] <Random desert fox> Who that?
[07:58] <Random desert fox> Is friend? They have tails and ears like ours?
[07:59] *** The desert foxes, dozens of them, quickly trot over and start inspecting M4A1, Sopporosa, UMP-9, Chibi-AnTil, and Chibi-Sylvester.

[08:00] * UMP-9 squeals as she flops to the ground and lets the desert foxes start climbing all over her!

[08:02] <Chibi-Sylvester> Like the ones back at the Citadel!
[08:02] <Mushashi> They're our little helpers. They help us to find places where there's small amounts of water.

[08:04] * Shoukaku frowns a little as a tiny Fennec climbs atop her head.

[08:05] <Chibi-Sylvester> There's many back at the Citadel. Immortan RO keeps them under her control by only giving them little bits of water from time to time.
[08:09] *** A small crowd of desert foxes gather around Chibi-Sylvester as he continues to describe the Citadel and the lives of the wasteland foxes there. The more he talks, the more they frown.

[08:14] * Sopporosa goes over to M4A1 "Can I talk to you in private?"
[08:14] * M4A1 walks with Sopporosa over to the front of the War Rig.
[08:15] * Sopporosa looks out across the vast expanse of flatlands ahead of them all that stretches all the way to the horizon and beyond.
[08:15] <Sopporosa> I've talked with some of the others.
[08:16] <Sopporosa> We're never going to have a better chance to make it across the Plains of Silence.
[08:17] <Sopporosa> If we leave the Rig here, load up the motorcycles with as much as we can, we can ride for as much as 160 days non-stop.
[08:17] <Sopporosa> One of those bikes is yours.
[08:18] <Sopporosa> Fully loaded. You can go and do whatever you want, but you're welcome to ride with us.
[08:18] <M4A1> ...I'll make my own way.
[08:18] * Sopporosa seems sad.
[08:19] <M4A1> You know, hope is a mistake. If you can't fix what's broken, you'll go insane trying to avoid it.
[08:21] *** The scene switches. It's daytime now, and M4A1 stands alone between the War Rig and her new motorcycle, watching the plumes of dust as everyone rides away in the distance.
[08:21] *** The desert foxes watch too. They can't ride on the motorcycles, and the Plains of Silence are deadly for them. So the Many-Tailed had to part ways with them.
[08:22] *** Quite a few desert foxes are now exploring and lounging on the War Rig, though.
[08:22] * M4A1 turns and walks towards her bike.

[08:30] *** The cloth is actually a hand-made map that M4A1 has been making of the entire region.

[08:30] * M4A1 points at the center of the map, where the Citadel is clearly marked.

[08:36] <Kaga> Artesian wells. The Citadel must be on top of a huge aquifer.

[08:37] * Shinano opens her eyes. "I hate her already."
[08:37] <Chiyoda> It would take us almost two weeks to go around the mountains.
[08:38] <M4A1> No. We go back the way we came. Through the canyon.

[08:41] <Sopporosa> Assuming we're all still alive at that point.

[07:25] *** The scene has switched to the pursuers! All of the cars and bikes are stopped and makeshift camps have been made. All of the Wardolls are laying out, camped out either in their vehicles, near them, or ON them.
[07:26] * Megumin (Doof Warrior) is using the chains of her Wasteland Guitar/flamethrower as a hammock and is fast asleep with a sleep-mask on. Yes, the sleep mask has goofy eyes on it.

[19:58] <Shiro Kuramoto> I'm somewhat surprised to see that, but it is comforting to hear, if that was your intent.

[20:00] <Bixia Yuanjin> What I'll do now is take you to a place of your choosing. Your home, your place of business, a 7-11, whatever you want.

[20:01] <Bixia Yuanjin> ...just remember that it's probably been several days. They may have seen your old body die.

[20:02] <Shiro Kuramoto> Well.
[20:02] <Shiro Kuramoto> Perhaps, then, they will be proportionately relieved to see that I somehow yet live?
[20:03] * Bixia Yuanjin smiles fleetingly
[20:03] <Bixia Yuanjin> Let's hope so.

[20:03] * Shiro Kuramoto takes it without hesitation.
[20:03] <Bixia Yuanjin> What's the address of your workplace?
[20:04] * Shiro Kuramoto tells her.
[20:04] * Bixia Yuanjin nods, closes her eyes, and visualizes it
[20:04] <Shiro Kuramoto> But---make sure you go to the back door. It's sub-let. We'll have to walk through or around if we show up at the front. Also... maybe going a few hundred feet away from it is better, since whatever that thing was could still be there?
[20:04] <Bixia Yuanjin> You may feel a little bit fuzzy after this for a little bit. That's normal. But it's better than walking.
[20:05] <Shiro Kuramoto> If you say so! :)
[20:05] * Bixia Yuanjin snorts a laugh then nods
[20:06] * Bixia Yuanjin reaches forward with her free hand, grabs on to something beyond sight, then pulls them Elsewhere entirely, aiming broadly for some hundred meters distant -- anchoring both on Kuramoto's memories and sense and her own relative understanding of space and time
[20:06] *** When Bixia and Shiro appear downtown, there's nothing crazy forcefield, or anything like that. The building is there, and there are new signs up and no trace of his business.
[20:07] * Shiro Kuramoto does have valid memories of the workplace... but that's about all of them. He has maybe 5% of the memories in his head that hsi body would suggest.
[20:07] <Shiro Kuramoto> Huh.
[20:07] <Shiro Kuramoto> There is nothing here at all. No trace of anything happening.
[20:08] <Bixia Yuanjin> Huh.
[20:08] *** The one exception to this is that there might be a few people in white robes wandering around downtown Tokyo.
[20:08] <Bixia Yuanjin> Let's try the back door, I guess.
[20:08] * Bixia Yuanjin gives one of them the unsubtle stink-eye from behind as they move
[20:09] *** A truck goes by tossing bags of food and basic necessities to the people in the white robes, and one is tossed toward Shiro and Bixia.
[20:09] * Shiro Kuramoto catches it.
[20:09] <Shiro Kuramoto> Oh---this is full of underwear and food and places to seek temporary shelter. That's convenient.
[20:10] *** The person in the white robe shrinks away from Bixia Yuanjin's gaze in confusion and fear.
[20:10] <Shiro Kuramoto> Oh--look free sandals!
[20:10] * Shiro Kuramoto puts them on.
[20:10] <Shiro Kuramoto> They fit me! Very lucky!
[20:10] <Shiro Kuramoto> Okay, back door.
[20:11] * Shiro Kuramoto follows Bixia around the building, adn there's something glinting on the ground before they reach the back door.

[20:11] * Shiro Kuramoto picks it up. It's a diamond ring!
[20:12] <Shiro Kuramoto> It looks like somebody's wedding ring.

[20:14] <Shiro Kuramoto> Is this real? This hasn't been days or weeks at all! It has been MONTHS!

[20:14] * Shiro Kuramoto is quiet, but only for a moment, "It seems like it has been almost exactly one year."
[20:16] * Bixia Yuanjin presses her lips together, tight
[20:16] <Bixia Yuanjin> I'm sorry. You...
[20:16] <Bixia Yuanjin> The process is apparently less inherently stable than I'd thought, I guess.
[20:16] <Shiro Kuramoto> Don't be too sorry!
[20:17] <Shiro Kuramoto> I'm alive, right? Optimism! For me, the glass is VERY half-full.
[20:17] <Shiro Kuramoto> Besides, I know a place where literally anybody can go to get help!

[20:17] <Shiro Kuramoto> There's a great Healer and charity in Rappongi.
[20:17] <Shiro Kuramoto> People go there and are apparently miraculously healed!
[20:18] <Shiro Kuramoto> They are a network for all kinds of charities. I can always go there, and get help and contact to start things fresh.
[20:18] <Shiro Kuramoto> I came into this town with literally nothing.
[20:18] <Shiro Kuramoto> I made my fortune with determination and charm and skill and knowledge and good luck and hard work. Doing it twice is inconsequential.
[20:19] <Shiro Kuramoto> If you dont' have any ideas, you could take me to Rappongi, to the place called the Healing Haven.
[20:20] <Bixia Yuanjin> It works for me. I haven't heard of this place, but... think of it again, and I'll pull through.
[20:20] *** A couple of the people wearing robes nearby look up and tremble for a moment when Shiro says these words, but then they wordlessly shamble away at a pace that suggests fear.
[20:20] <Shiro Kuramoto> No problem!
[20:20] * Shiro Kuramoto does!
[20:20] <Shiro Kuramoto> It's been all over the news. Super-easy.
[20:20] * Shiro Kuramoto closes his eyes and brings to mind the Healing Haven at Rappongi.

[20:22] * Bixia Yuanjin feels a chill down her back for reasons she cannot account
[20:23] * Shiro Kuramoto is not scrying, of course! Why would he be able to do that? He hasn't seen the place for months and months, since it was totally full of patients, and has no reason to believe otherwise.

[20:23] <Shiro Kuramoto> Go ahead. I'm ready.
[20:23] * Bixia Yuanjin reaches out again, latches to the memory, and pulls them both through Elsewhere again
[20:23] *** Bixia and Shiro appear near the hospital, but alas, it is shut down, and the Tent City is almsot a ghost town!
[20:24] <Shiro Kuramoto> ....Huh.
[20:25] <Shiro Kuramoto> This is maybe 1% of what it was. I wonder what happened here?
[20:25] <Shiro Kuramoto> Do you think we should ask some of the people that are still here?
[20:26] * There are still one or two people milling around but you can see they are doing their best to hide their white robes if they have them
[20:26] <Bixia Yuanjin> I guess so. I'll let you take the lead.
[20:26] <Bixia Yuanjin> In a lot of ways, it's better if I don't attract too much attention.
[20:26] *** There is, however, one person who is not wearing white robes, and in stark contrast, doesn't appear bothered at all by the situation.
[20:27] * Shiro Kuramoto walks up to the first tent, which happens to contain this unusual person, as well as a couple white-robes, and maybe a person still sick.
[20:28] *** All the people in the tent greet Shiro and Bixia, except for one person wrapped in bandages, who says nothing.
[20:29] <Shiro Kuramoto> DM Bixia can IMMEDIATELY tell that this person is not human. This being has no soul, or if it does, it has a soul the way a windowpane and doormat and wall fitting are a house.

[20:29] * Bixia Yuanjin doesn't look long, she doesn't like that
[20:30] *** The person looks at Bixia, with unbandaged eyes that look uncannily like eyes she has seen before and knows well.
[20:31] <Shiro Kuramoto> Excuse me, everyone. Hi. We just got here, and were wondering what was going on?
[20:32] * Bixia Yuanjin is well-versed in the art of following along and seeming innocuous
